Apparently Cal fans do not like the tradition of the pre-game prayer.
Now that is some fine entertainment if you have a few minutes. I think what the Cal fans do not understand is that we look forward to football season in Tennessee all year long. It is not a game to us, it is something worthy of reverence and respect.
Sure, we probably do take it a little too seriously but let’s be honest here…………most Cal fans would love to have the passion, tradition, and the atmosphere that we have at Tennessee on football Saturdays.
In closing Cal fans………… you don’t have to protest EVERYTHING. You should pick your battles more carefully. Sometimes it is best to understand that you are sitting in the middle of 106,000 people who respect the pregame prayer (whether religious or not). Tolerance is a two way street.
