8. Auburn (Georgia beats Auburn, book it)

9. Cal (Tedford hoping the Beavers didn’t piss the Trojans off)

10. Texas (Brown & Co. does not want to play Nebraska again)

11. USC (Yes, outta the Top 10 with ya. Now just be sure to beat the Domers)

12. Notre Dame (Big whoop, you beat Navy)

• It seems clear to me that there isn’t a great team in the SEC, but there is a lot of good ones.
• USC finally paid for its sloppy play, thank goodness. Now will Oregon or Cal destroy the weakened Trojan empire?
• Two weeks ago I put Mizzu in the Top 10 and they went out and showed my genius by losing to Texas A&M. Last week I put Clemson in there and what did they do? Who’s gonna be the next team that I curse?
• I kinda hope the WV-Louisville winner runs the table and gets put in the BCS championship game and gets destroyed by either Michigan or Ohio State.
• Will Michigan’s thumping of Notre Dame be that impressive after USC rips Weis’ team of whiners a new one?
