As I was going through my morning constitution, I realized that I am going to miss the Cardinals and the Big East ESPN/BCS hype. I felt a little sad. What else is there to bitch about? If Louisville is good enough to be hyped for the MNC (Thanks again ESPN. You are dirty whores) then why not Boise State or Rutgers? I really don’t see any glaring differences other than Boise is not in the Big East (Boise not a Big East Team so no ESPN Media push).
Rutgers must be inserted into the U of L’s #3 BCS Position. They are most certainly a cookie cutter template of the prototypical powerhouse Big East Team.
We say to hell with Florida and Texas. They have one loss, so fuck them. Boise, Rutgers, Michigan, and OSU are the remaining. Who really gives two shits if Rutgers and Boise have not played anyone? I agree – undefeated deserves respect. If Big East teams are getting all of the hype, you can’t say a team in the BE “didn’t play anybody”. I’m kind of a sucker for the underdog stories, and look on with jealousy when a previously crap program begins to succeed. Probably because I went to the U. of Kansas. A freaking Alamo Bowl invite is like manna from heaven for us.
i’m a lifelong Louisville fan and i want all you people to get off Bobby’s back. i watched the bear coach for all them years and Bobby’s a clone of the bear, cept for the liquor and prostitutes. i’m sick of you people gittin on Bobby. after the Rutger’s loss, he said, “we’re close” and i admit i was concerned, i was real concerned, and i am still concerned, but he said, “we’re real close” and i begun to feel better. maybe petrino should try wearing a bama houndstoothless hat on the sidelines. that way all the Ville fans could love him again. in fact he could show up on the sidelines drunk and high. i’m sure his coaching would improve. when he gets too drunk to stand up they can prop him against the goal post. (where have i seen that before?) it’s about as close to the end zone as his offense has been and probably will be and they can paint a picture of it.
