A big thanks to ConyersVols for submitting this Basketball report. Conyers is usually a flaming asshole, but appears to have a sensitive side. This is pretty good assessment of the BB Vols despite the obvious homoerotic references sprinkled throughout the story and overwhelming urge to sniff these players jockstraps. First off, let me just say that I got to sit on the first row right behind the UT bench so I got to see alot. This team looks the part, meaning they are well chiseled and should not be out-conditioned by anyone, they all have biceps and look strong (See picture below, nothing like Buzz’s teams). Fordham was scrappy and the Vols certainly did not play their best but they got the win. The game was incredibly choppy. The officials were calling everything and we never really got into a rythm offensively in this game outside of a two runs in the first half and one run in the second half.
Pearl is a God…let me repeat Pearl is a God. He is constantly coaching. When we are running offensive and defensive sets he will turn around and ask the players on the bench what set we just ran, etc. The bench players have to be paying attention because they could go in at anytime. He has a substituion matrix and we rotated 10 guys tonight that all contributed. He also has the water girl go give the referees water during breaks…he’s a God, pure and simple and does everything right.
The turnovers were bad, but this I think was a result of the team trying to make the extra pass when they don’t need to. They are still adjusting to each other’s style of play. This will get much better as the year goes on.
My thoughts on individual players:
C-Lo: what can you say, he took over and got into some foul trouble which is a result of him being more aggressive. He has got to balance being aggressive and getting to the free throw line.
Childress: Again, Pearl is a God. He has coached this young man into a solid contributor. Hit a three, a couple a free throws, had a put back dunk and had a nice fade away off of a rebound.
Ramar Smith-seems to really take to caoching, can tell when the light goes on he will be tough to stop. has a weird looking shot, hit a three and also had a put back dunk in traffic. Pearl called a back door play when Ramar was at the point and he executed it perfect.
Josh Tabb-really impressed me. This guy is a basketball player. He plays defense and boxes out really well. He’s a guy you want on your team.
Marques Johnosn-solid, reminds me a Jalen Rose.
Wayne Chism-has a soft touch facing the basket, good rebounder, but needs to finish stronger around the rim. In the second half, Chism gave Pearl half a high five and Pearl said to that is how we are playing right now meaning not all the way and made him give him a real high five.
Duke Crews-Wow…this guys loves to be around the rim and his aggressive. He will not back down from anybody and looked good going to the basket, rebounding and even shooting free throws.
Jajuan Smith-the Pest, he sometimes tries to be to fancy and probably should pull the trigger more but he’s another guy you want on your team.
Tony Passley-he was really frustrated tonight and visibly. He threw his towel down near the scorer’s table and Pearl made him go pick it up. He is very strong and got in foul trouble. The best par tis that his teammates and Pearl kept telling him to keep his head up and keep trying.
Bradshaw-same as last year, under control, tough, and is a controlling presence on the floor almost a coach.
Also, Kendall Phillips is beyond hot…I had trouble concentrating on the game. The water boy isn’t bad either. Middle Tennessee Volquesters need to get their butts to the GEC to support the team tomorrow at 7:30.

I felt like I was reading an except from “Inches Magazine”. This fanbase is extremely demented and disturbed. Jock sniffing is a main staple on the Volquest menu. Jock sniffing of jock sniffers is the special this week.
