A special thanks to a new contributer who goes only by the handle of “Smokey”. He sent us his impressions of the old school ass-whipping administered to the Vols by the North Carolina Tar Heels. It appears to be an almost “live blog” that is packed with emotion. I noticed that old Smokey seems to think that the refs played a big role in the ass whipping too! He mentions them frequently throughout his tirade.

If we have Wright we win tonights game. He told Coach Lavin that had Bruce Pearl been at TN when he was being recruited he would have gone there. The next 5 years of TN bball looks outstanding.

Also we are getting JOBBED by the refs. I am willing to say that maybe racism factors into Tyler Hansborough getting treated like a FREAKING BABY and his charges and travels not being called. “No way, it is because he is a star and star players always get special calls, you must know nothing about basketball”

HE IS A SOPHOMORE! Is Chris Lofton not a star? He picks up cheap hand check fouls every game. Is he not a star? Why do Pearls teams seem to get treated like Buzz Petersons teams were treated when we played South Carolina at SC?

Dane is back and is playing better, Chris is still not moving well enough without the ball, Crews took a big step forward tonight I thought in the way he finished when he got the ball down low.

If we can get Crews and Chism on the floor at the same time, we will be a much much much better team.

Jajuan Smith DID NOT commit a flagrant foul, he just had an intentional foul after which Tyler threw himself on the ground like a whining baby….Roy running out also helped with getting him tossed. It was crap.

We got consistently screwed by the refs. I actually thought my post would say it wouldnt have made a difference but I am not so sure. We had call after call after call after call that went against us and it felt like I was watching a no call travel from Tyler resulting in UNC points, followed by a TN player getting hit with no call from the refs, followed by a block on Hansborough from Chism being called a foul….it was crap and it happened all night.
