Mal Moore’s Build a Bear Workshop Day 6, Rich Rodriguez asks “Who is Mal Moore?”

Rich Rodriguez, buddy we have all been there. We feel your pain, the desire to go out and do whatever the hell you want to
do. Coach at Bama? Make 3.1 million a year? Be on the National College Football stage every year? To have Rivals 100 recruits want to play for your school? Not having to take the leftover players that the “Big Boy” schools didn’t want? Go out and buy that red Corvette? Buy that 42″ Plasma Screen TV? Move to a state that has electricity and high speed internet access? And finally, get nemesis Colin Cowherd off of your ass?
Rich, you were well on your way to accomplishing all of these things and then the unspeakable happens, you forgot to ask your wife for permission. She is pissed and emotional and now Rich, you gotta a big problem. If Momma ain’t happy, then nobody is happy. She is seeing all of the signs of a pending mid-life crisis brewing. Now the denial and deception operations must commence. (related Bama/WVU stories – here)
“I don’t know what was said,” Rodriguez told the radio show. “I was over here with my team at Lakeview for dinner like we always do the night before a game, and my wife, Rita, calls me in tears saying, ‘You’re not going to believe what is being said.’
“I asked her what was said, and she said, ‘They are reporting that you’ve already accepted the job at Alabama, you’ve already told your coaches, that you are telling your team tonight.’”
Rich, we commend you on your quick and accurate responses. You Sir, are a smooth operator, plausible deniability or deniable plausibility, deflect blame, plead ignorance and Rita will not begin her own denial of service operation against you. Even Mal Moore is confirming your story, excellent prior coordination Coach Rod, We salute you!!
