Moore continues to feel the heat from his probes of South Florida. The Miami Herald reported Thursday that at least one South Florida high school had asked Alabama not to send recruiters to its campus.
George Smith, the veteran football coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has sent a letter to Moore and UA president Robert Witt after what he feels was “the unfair firing of Mike Shula as coach,” the report said.
