When Miami finishes and Saban once again says No (for the 40th time) they’ll end up worse than they were with Shula. For a while I hoped Bama got this thing worked out. I don’t hate Bama and respect the tradition and think it’s good for the SEC if Bama is good (occassionally great). Just like I think it’s good for the Pac 10 if USC or UCLA are good, occasionally great. Ditto Big 11. Ditto ACC (FSU, Miami). But they APPEAR to be botching this thing up pretty badly and I guess they need to fire Mal and start all over. It might take a Joe Kines as HC for 3 years to take them back to the bottom to start over.
