Desmond Howard just said on the BCS Pregame

“Big games are determined by TWO things…Rushing offense, Turnovers, and special teams.” Nice math, Mr. Hypesman. Did ESPiN think they needed one token Wolverine to offset seventeen Buckeyes on their network?

    The truly funny thing is that really only one of those three things ended up deciding the game. Turnovers by Ohio State played a big part in Florida building their first half lead. However, both teams’ rushing games were virtually non-existant (Florida’s running threats did keep Ohio State off guard though), and special teams play was mostly irrelevent aside from Ginn’s kickoff return and a couple of solid field goals from Florida’s Chris Hetland.
