bottom line is this: the (longest tenure) head coach that couldn’t leave Fayetteville because he “loved that helmut too much” will now be the one who walks on us. Another 10 win season and he’ll be heading somewhere for twice the money and three times the prestige. The radical nutt haters may lose some court battles to come, but they will certainly win the war. Nutt will be gone. Joke will be on us (as usual).
yeah, 10 win season. hadn’t see a sec defense yet that can stop Monk, Jones, McFadden, and HILLIS all healthy

What did we lose??? Integrety of the Arkansas Razorbacks program. Mitch Mustain –I think his record speaks for itself. As far as playing -at least he will have the respect-confidence and appreciation from his coach-that was not given to him here.

To be honest the only things that we really lost from last year was malzahn, who is no doubt a great coordinator, and the fresh air that mitch gave the team, I don’t know if many of you remeber, but everyone went nuts when mitch came in the first couple games, and the morale of the team was most obviously boosted. He was a big part of those eight wins, even though casey dick would have done just as good of a job…..well incomparison to both of their other performances. But you have to ask , if Malzahn didn’t play much of a role in the offense, and Reggie Herring was the engineer of the superb defense, which was probably the biggest improvement from the previous season, and Casey’s and Mitch’s (as a freshman) numbers are pretty dang close, what did we lose other than the seniors? Though I do think that Mitch has more potential than Casey, I see no reason that we can’t get another run at an sec championship, because we still have almost everything that we needed to do so last year, plus the confidence that came with the ranking and the want of the players to prove to the state that the springdale kids weren’t the reason we got to the conf. champ..
But you people that like to run your mouth about the guys from Springdale are getting old and lame. You aren’t and can’t possibly be taking into account all of the situation. The recent developments in the whole drama have really showed thier class, and their self-lessness. Look Mitch wouldn’t even think of going to USC which he probably will, if he was only concerned about playing time or his spotlight. He’s going to put himself in the hardest place in the country to win a starting position if he goes, which is very respectable. He also knows that he is goingto kiss his name goodby, I don’t know if any of you have ever lived out there or anyhting, but no one cares who mitch mustaine is in california, they way they see it, hes just some dumb arkansan, and he won’t live up to the USC football program. I’ve been in Arkansas, especially Northwest Arkansas, long enough to know that the majority of the people here almost have a little too much pride. It’s really kinda funny, one day everyone is rooting for someone, but as soon as the apparent popular consensus changes, so do the minds of just about everyone around. The e-mail from that teresa chick is a perfect example. She goes off and writes this mindless letter and goes off sayinghaha look what I can do…im a damn comedian. Then without even thinking, Mrs. Nutt, goes off and forwards it to a bunch of people. Wow, now there’s a great way to show some “pride”. Man the ammount of thought that went into that one…..must have been a strain, but lets give it up for them. They might not be able to think, but they sure can make themselves look cool. Here’s a thought for you ladies, go ahead and let this one digest. People in real “CITIES” much like the one Mitch is going to, are laughing hysterically at you and how ignorant and shallow your small town way of thinking is. Oh yeah, and congtats on making it out of high school, let me know how the popularity contests ends up.
