When will SEC Fans learn? We should always doubt (for Bama fans, we doubt you really have 12 National Championships). We should always- and I mean always – be skeptical. We should AAB. And, we should be making the argument that, as always, our conference is being overlooked by the media. It can easily be argued that the SEC is the best conference.1. We have the best team (even though 99.8% of us want them to lose badly) that has the history of Texas Community College of Corpus Christi and the arrogance of Duke.

2. No one has a losing record (that’s incredible).

3. Before conference play began, we had the best RPI (that means we played the toughest schedule and won the most games).

4. RPI falling to number two after conference play started says more about the strength of all teams in the SEC instead of its weakness. Yet, the media continually talks about how the SEC is down and the West is horrible.

5. Arkansas getting in makes A LOT more sense than Stanford (18-12) in the Pac 10 and others – but have any of you heard that mentioned?

6. If the bottom half of the ACC or the Big East or the Big 10 or
the Pac 10 or the Big 12 was as good as the bottom half of the SEC, their would have been many fewer teams with winning conference records in those respective conferences. There are NO easy outs in the SEC.

7. Results Speak for themselves:

These are all either Tourney teams or just missed because of this
loss. There are a couple of SEC losses I highlighted because they
were the other conferences’ best team, on their floor who struggled to beat the SEC team. In at least one instance, the men in stripes determined that the outcome would not be favorable to the SEC squad.

I hear Digger and Seth and Dicky and Dodd and Bilas (Duke sucks) and Gotlieb and Katz and Mandel and on and on and on and yaw yaw yaw yaw (‘yaws’ are for Coach Orgeron) yadda yada yadda yada and blah blah blah blah, I can’t hear you = all repeating the same mantra. The SEC is weak. Arkansas did not deserve to get in. This Big 10 team beat that team. Or this Big East team beat that team. But, I NEVER hear them mention any of these games. Have you?

I have yet to hear anyone mention how Ohio State got killed by
Florida (who sucks); or how their USC was clobbered by our USC (the worst team in our league); or how LSU (the second worst team in our league) cleaned Texas A&M’s plow; or how Tennessee beat the absolute snot out of the Alec Baldwin look-alike in Memphis. Speaking of Tennessee, I have
been to two national sports websites that list each tourney team’s key wins, and the Vols win over Texas is not listed on either website. Things that make you go hmmm.
