Bama’s Basketball season goes the way of Barbaro

Last night, thankfully and mercifully, the UMass basketball team, coached by former Kentucky star and Billy Packer idol, Travis Ford, humanely euthanized Bama’s season with a 2 point victory over the Crimson Tide in overtime.

The Bama players almost flawlessly executed Gottfried’s “One-and-done” philosophy. I say almost because Mikael Mykal Riley gave Alabama a chance to extend their season by hitting a three pointer at the end of regulation sending the game into OT. A Bama victory would have meant that we would have been subjected to at least 40 more minutes of sloppy passes, uncontested lay-ups and wide-open three point attempts for the opposition while Gottfried claps on the sideline. (UT fans, does that remind you of anyone?)

Thank you, UMass.

Bamamaster, that is a fellow Bama fan that you just told to kiss your ass. And from what I hear, his views are shared by the majority of Bama fans. Just FYI

    Humanely Euthanized?

Was it something with a needle or a 357 to the brain stem? That game hurt. It really summed up the year.

Typical performance last night. There isn’t any way around it…no other way to dress it up…..curse it….smoke it…stuff it you know where…it won’t change the reality….Gottfried is, and will be, a mediorce coach that will field a sub-par basketball team as long as he’s our coach.
