Gators fear:

1. The DEA
2. Lighters that won’t spark
3. Wet matches
4. Oregano

They also fear schools that rob their coaches.  Schools that have just a bit more tradition than the Embry-Riddle of the SEC.  Oh am I full of shit?  Look at the highly skilled in-demand coaches that have departed and broke the hearts of thousands of jorts-wearing mullet heads: Spurrier, Zook, Pell, Krueger and soon Herban Meyer (a poor man’s Nick Saban) to name but a few.
Gator Fans know it. They know that the “Grass is Greener” on the other side of the fence and Billy Donovan and his hypnotic widows peak are going to follow that sweet stinky grass to Lexington.  Why not? He can coach at a school that really does have more tradition than a community college and not a rep for lawlessness. AK-47s and dope won’t be tolerated in state that enforces the law. Gator fans (as do Billy and Herban) know that the NCAA is coming and the Sooners of the 21st Century will be bitch-slapped back to reality. Link

For years, Kentucky has been the job vacancy that Florida fans feared
most, and now it was open. When Donovan declined to immediately bat
down the notion, you could almost see Gator fans brace for the noise to
come. If Joakim Noah decides to leave this time around, if Al Horford
follows him, if Corey Brewer decides the same, that would be tough
enough. But Donovan? The coach who believed when no one else did? That
would be tougher to swallow.
