The Big Orange Speech Nazi’s are very effective in quieting dissent when it comes to the Lady Vols basketball program. They brand anybody who dares to question the wisdom of funneling millions of dollars into a money sucking black hole as a “sexist”. As far as women’s basketball, Pat Summit is THE legend. Period. However, the demand for a men’s coach like Bruce Pearl far outweighs the demand for Pat Summit, simply because there is a far greater demand for and interest in men’s basketball.
Not everybody is a “sexist pig” for thinking that Pearl should be paid double or triple what Summit is paid. They are each in demand but the demand for Pearl commands more dollars than the demand for Summit. So please, no more talk of sexism. And if your wife ever asks you why you never taking her skiing, just tell her that there is no snow between the bedroom and the kicthen.
