Sweet Stinky Bam-Bam Unknown Offense in a Huge Brawl Gets Another Gator

Somewhere Barry Switzer is smiling…

Looks like another scholarship just freed up. Was Doe a Zook recruit that didn’t play much? If so, Dustin Doe is gone. Herban is so insecure that he doesn’t want or need the recruits of other hugely successful UF coaches taking up space. UPDATE: Doe will be under the Marcus Thomas Suspension Plan (Outlined in this link), he will not play against teams that UF is favored by 3 TD or greater. He’s expected to play a significant role in the 2007 season on a Gator defense that lost several players from its championship squad.

Speaking of Zook (and Channing Crowder) “…The fight involved 25 to 30 people, said Lt. Keith Kameg, spokesman for the Gainesville Police Department. He said the cause of the fight wasn’t clear.”

UF linebacker Dustin Doe was arrested early Sunday morning for fighting, Gainesville police reported.

Doe, 19, of Jasper was arrested when police responded to a large fight at about 2:25 a.m. in a downtown parking lot at 200 NW 2nd St. When officers approached the fight, Doe was among those attempting to leave the scene, according to police.

Doe is a sophomore who is a projected starter at outside linebacker for the Gators. UF athletic department spokesman Steve McLain said coach Urban Meyer is aware of the incident but has no comment at this time.

The fight involved 25 to 30 people, said Lt. Keith Kameg, spokesman for the Gainesville Police Department. He said the cause of the fight wasn’t clear.
