The point Chipper is trying to make is that there isn’t a rivalry there. The point is that while the Braves/Red Sox and Yankees/Mets play everybody else is playing sub-500 teams. It’s kinda of silly when one team is playing 4 or 5 playoff teams which account for 15-20 games out of the schedule when one of your division opponents is playing sub-500 teams for most of those games.
Chipper, just win the games on your schedule. That’s generally good enough unless you play college football. Correct Boise State?
Mets interleague:
Yankees 6 games
Tigers 3 games
Twins 3 games
A’s 3 games
Braves interleague:
Boston 6 games
Twins 3 games
Indians 3 games
Tigers 3 games
So shut up Chipper, you are more phyiscally fragile than an egg shell. It has been said that if someone were to stare at your ankles, that you would go on the disabled list for 2 weeks. I noticed you were out of the lineup the last 2 games of the Pirates Series. You are so predictable, even a 9 year old correctly predicted after you fell down while running the bases Friday night that you would not play the rest of the weekend.

So when I was watching the Braves game Friday evening and Chipper hit the dirt I threw the remote across the room and for a few moments was very pissed off. Then he got up.
Then yesterday, after I got tired of seeing the Braves getting their ass whipped, I started flipping around. Rookie of the Year was on. When the kid fell at the end of the movie and lost his ability to throw fastballs, the kid’s impact on the ground reminded me of Chipper’s fall Friday night.
In conclusion, Chipper is as fragile as a 10 year old. Scientific fact.
