In a stunning, yet long overdue reversal of a miscarriage of justice, it seems Genarlow Wilson may be taking his first breaths of freedom in 27 months quite soon. Thank. Gawd.
He had a high grade point average. By all accounts, a good kid. He had interest from some Ivy League schools, The Citadel, et cetera. The big knock on him seems to be his size. Funny, but Jonathan Wade wasn’t all that tall. He just has wheels and can cover your ass like white on rice.
Considering everything the kid’s been through, and, considering there’s like next to ZERO depth in the UT secondary or receiver corps (Fulmer himself saying that freshman and jucos will probably start in both positions), here’s hoping someone out there will give him a scholly or let him walk on.

I saw the video and it’s fair to say there may have been some character issues, but the man have served way too much time for a non-crime crime. The problem is that he was a 18 year-old senior black kid that had sex with white 15 year-old girl and put it on video. That don’t fly in Douglasville, Georgia.
Douglasville has done an excellent job in painting the state of Georgia into a dumbass, bumpkin state. Everyone I know here, including my old south Grandparents, thinks this punishment is retarded. Genarlow has more people supporting him than anyone else in the country.
To continue the ignorance, the state of Georgia is appealing the judge’s decision and Genarlow has to sit in prison until that process is complete. He better be getting treated like a king while he waits.
