The Best 57 Games of 2007

What games look like the best this fall? Glad you asked. Here’s Tom Dienhart’s “FAB 57 Games” for 2007 [Sporting News]

Breathe deep, water flows freely, anus is irrigated, and the SEC is clearly superior. 22 of the 57 games involve an SEC team or teams. There are some real ‘WTF was he thinking’ games on this list. I have taken the liberty of highlighting my WTF? games and why I believe that they are WTF?…

Florida Gators Games are in jeopardy of being cancelled.  The majority of the team might be facing felony weapons and drug charges.  Unable to field a full squad.

  1. Georgia Tech v. Notre Dame is a game of the year? Nothing like sitting down on a Saturday and watching two Top-50 programs bang heads…

As far as the TCU v. Texas game, there is no way in hell TCU is beating Texas and therefore it should be a dull game…but if for some reason TCU can pull an upset, they are smooth sailing to go undefeated the rest of the way…How fast would they enact a playoff the next year if TCU played in the National Championship this year?

  2. fuck me, how did I miss that? Charlie Weis vs the Shoney’s Breakfast Bar is more interesting matchup

  3. Rutgers/Louisville will be another stellar Thursday night game

  4. BCS B-Listers on ESPN2 Thursdays
