On one hand, I want to commend you on trying to be the voice of the Big East to an audience that will always consider it second rate. However, on the other hand, the one that will tan your face with a literary pimp slap on a daily basis, the college football royalty considers your 2-team conference the equivalent of a 1987 acid-washed jean tight-roll. The Big East, as a whole, is way, way behind.

I’ll give you UL and WVU; 2 Good teams in a bad league. Yall are timeless like a brown leather belt, but the rest of that conference is a former territory of Yugoslavia. They’re so far behind and have no idea that they look like a bunch of douche bags with fanny packs, Max Headroom t-shirts, and kangaroo shoes.

Look, until the Big East becomes at least a 10-team conference and stays that way for a couple of decades, you’ll be second rate. Being DDT’d by the ACC and having VT, Miami, and BC leave you, the fat girl, for a pretty lady, set your conference progress back. Right now you’re the fat girl with a pretty face from former Yugoslavia in 1980′s clothes.
