On to Catch a Predator, the Gators make a last ditch effort to win the Fulmer Cup

To Catch a Predator offers the Gator Nation one more chance to show why Florida has a tag at Fark.com.

Not satisfied with finishing third, the Florida Gators made a dramatic last minute 4th and 19 effort to secure the Fulmer Cup. Herban Meyer reportedly finds the Fulmer Cup bittersweet. Meyer loses points when he doesn’t have to “discipline” (Fingers make air quotes) his players because the points were removed when charges are (air quotes to follow) “dropped” or “witnesses/victims decline to press charges”. Known as a fiery competitor, Meyer desperately wants to bring home another piece of hardware to put in the trophy case. Champions don’t quit….not at Florida they don’t quit..not ever. As Coach Meyer likes to say: Champions don’t play in the Emerald Bowl…

In what would be a prophetic speech made at the Gator Friday Night Lights recruiting event, Meyer told impressionable young recruits: What you folks need to realize is that here in Gainesville it don’t matter how we get there (to the national championship), it’s just that we get there! I don’t care if one of my players is caught in bed with a live boy or a dead girl, as long as they suit up and show some class on Saturdays.

A couple of questions, does the guy (pictured below) play defense for Florida? Did he get his sweatshirt from the same “store” as Chris Rainey [More on Rainey]? This Gator goes by the handle slave2mistress. He wants to be treated like a Dawg. GATA!!! He is probably a Gator player, recruit or but a more likely scenario is that he is member of the fanatical Bull Gator alumni.

The Bull Gators know that national publicity like this is crucial in getting the exposure to “win” the top recruits around the country, and to reel them into Gainesville. The technological savvy Meyer knows that he must demonstrate to the recruit and their family the sequence of a Gator being arrested followed by dismissal of charges to secure a blue chip commitment Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

And with the typical Gator response:

The reality is that the house location that they catch the predators is in Flagler Beach, FL. It’s not like they are drawing from a national pool of molesters. They all live close to Flagler Beach, which is only about 30-40 minutes from Gainesville. I’m sure if they did “To Catch a Predator” in Wakulla County, FL…well, you know.
