Hill has been head coach since 1997 and has a grand total of one LOWLY WAC championship in 1999. Since Boise State joined the WAC in 2001, Fresno State is 1-6 (ONE AND SIX) against Boise State and 2-5 (TWO AND FIVE) against Hawaii. If you can't beat the teams in your conference you should be FIRED. Pat always plays "not to lose", and after all of these years has not figured out you need to open up the offense against the wide open Boise State and Hawaii offenses. What does it take Pat??? Inside the five vs. Wisconsin, run it up the middle, over and over and over. DUH!!! Failure, lost football game. Fresno needs a new coach, but they also need a new university President to replace the totally incompetent Welty. Welty is too clueless to do anything about the athletic department which historically just does its own thing. How Welty can survive after $20MM plus discrimination awards is beyond me.
