Jerrell Powe still can’t read, but neither can Parrots

Two new faces joined the team on the practice field Thursday as Jerrell Powe and Chris Strong were both provisionally admitted to the Ole Miss, eliciting smiles all around camp.
“We were excited to see #57 (Powe) and #53 (Strong) out there today,” Orgeron said. “Jerrell looked good. They went through some drills and looked excellent. It was a big boost for the team to have those guys out there. It was a big moment to see those guys walk out on the field.
There is a unique difference when guys come from the state of Mississippi, and they fight and claw and they want to be at Ole Miss. You will see the difference in their play. Jerrell had a lot of opportunities to give up, and it shows you about his character, that he never gave up.” [Ole Miss Rivals]
Clearly Bat Shit Crazy Orgeron’s determination to win the BCS is crystal clear. BTW, he is our favorite
for SEC Coach of the Year. We also think that he defeats UK in the SEC-CG in Atlanta for the right to take on the Big East Champion for the National Championship!!! 7 wins in 2 years Bitches…eat it…
The pursuit of Powe is another bold move to solidify Ole Miss as the SEC West favorite. Last year’s ballsy move was naming Brent Schaffer (now a converted WR) as the starting QB before Schaffer was even admitted into school. Do these “out of the box” personnel decisions make Ole Miss, a school without a mascot, the Louisville (Think Willie Williams) of the SEC by taking players that no one would want in their program?
Yes and no. Orgeron doesn’t fuck around, he has strict standards that he adheres too when recruiting players: “If a kid can fog a mirror I will offer him a scholarship; and that “reading might be fun, but it is overrated at the Harvard of the South”.
Orgeron can’t read so why should his players? And look how O turned out. Hand Powe or Orgeron the Cat in the Hat book, or maybe even Harry Potter books and let them read out loud. 7-10 year olds all over the world are reading those books without much trouble. If Powe can’t fucking read them then we can all rest knowing that he is indeed, an illiterate waste of athletic ability. If he can read it, then let the bitching and moaning continue. If you count Powe’s 4 years of high school, he has had nearly 7 full years to meet the admissions standards of Ole Miss and hopefully the NCAA.
Keep in mind that a parrot can be articulate with 7 years of training.
Will he ever obtain a college degree? Not even close but he probably doesn’t care. As long as he can stay eligible for 2 years, he’s done enough to go pro. Staying eligible isn’t going to be difficult as he will load up on leisure management, introduction to computers, and military science courses. I’m sure that there are enough random cakewalk classes he can take to burn 3 semesters.
Powe’s street cred already has 15 tackles, ten of them behind the LOS along with 3 QB sacks and he hasn’t even played a game yet. Hotty Toddy mothefucker

This is classic SEC stuff. Fight like hell to get an illiterate kid into school. Pathetic.
I don’t know that much about Ed Orgeron except that I can’t understand a word that comes out of his mouth.
Does anyone else think that he completely out of his element? Why again was the previous coach fired? The guy who coached ELI?
I wish that my eers played these non-readers on the gridiron, it would be a massacre
I think that I hate you
Get your jabs in when you can against Mississippi, AngryEer, because that is the only state West Virginia can academically talk shit about.
WVU would be Mississippi State Champs if Orgeron had a set of balls

Kind of seems to have a ring of Noel Devine to it…
That’s OK though, cuz Chris Rainey can out run him…

Southern Piss would destroy The Eers
Noel Devine was seen reading a High Times magazine
WVU would win the SEC West. Everybody knows that the west is the weak link
McFadden would make Slaton and White look like cripples. West is the weak link my ass, LSU is going to rape a team that was too good for the Big East (VA Tech) and Auburn will cock slap the Big East dark horse.
And don’t bring up Mississippi State. That would be like an SEC homer bragging about beating up UConn.
Why would you buy shampoo when real poo is free?
