As a note, I have decided to accept a commenters suggestion that I accept the UGA signature win for what it is….just a another W. It is time for us all just to move on and stop discussing that the Eers beat the SEC Champion in their own home state. OK? And also, for the commenters complaining about the WVU posts? It is one post a day or less. When the SEC has a winning record against the BE, I will stop posting. Until then KISS MY ASS HOMERS
Who is this guy Colt Brennan? Is Hawaii considered part of the USA? Like Puerto Rico? Does anyone else know that this guy is playing against some of the weakest defenses in college football, not to mention two 1-AA schools? I just wonder what kind of offensive numbers my laser-armed Pat White would put up with that candy-ass schedule and candy-ass conference that Brennan and company will face? I will tell you this, if “Colt” played a Big East Schedule, against Big East defenses, he would not finish the season. The speed of the Big East would be too much. Eer speed kills and yet it is life. What a paradox.
Hawaii is not playing in a conference of juggernauts like WVU, Rutgers or Louisville. He played against 5 teams last year who were BCS caliber (1 SEC, 1 Big Ten, 2 Pac 10, and Boise State).
In those five games he AVERAGED 426 yards passing and a 71.8% completion rate. On top of that, he threw for 17 touchdowns to six interceptions. And these weren’t candy ass teams but then again they weren’t BE teams either. They finished the regular season with combined records of 41-20.
So it’s not like he puts up those numbers just because he’s in the WAC. Don’t forget he also ran for 366 yards.
Hell, if you combined his numbers from last year and the year before, he’s played 9 BCS teams, threw for 3.351 yards, 26 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and a completion percentage of 70.8%.
My point with all of the stats?? Colt could never do that in my league. No way no how would he ever have that kind of success in a BCS Big Boy Conference like the Big East. Our defenses are like racquetball courts, you better be wearing eye protection.
Bottomline for the non-believers: Every quarterback not named Pat White couldn’t run or pass against the defenses of UCONN Cincy and Pitt.

“juggernauts like WVU, Rutgers or Louisville”
BWAAAHAHAHA!!! Don’t forget about having to play in those LOUD 30,000 seat stadiums at UConn and Cincinnati, too!
“Our defenses are like racquetball courts, you better be wearing eye protection.”
WVU gave up 44 points to Louisville (the best team in the Big Least).
You’re nothing but a big joke, Angry.
“Our defenses are like racquetball courts, you better be wearing eye protection.”
Why?
Does the Big East use the Three Stooges defense?
Eye pokes all around…
Amazingly, this sounds like SEC fans arguments against the BE, White and Slaton
I would hit the one on the left BTW
“When the SEC has a winning record against the BE, I will stop posting.”
111-69 Current SEC vs. Current Big East Teams.
I actually don’t want you to stop posting, but I like being right.

The people of North Korea are brainwashed by their leader, Kim Jong Il.hey Angry, maybe you should change your name to Kim Jong Eer. I think that would be more appropiate…
111-69 Current SEC vs. Current Big East Teams.
Nice one.
How long has the BE been alive?
BE started in 1991, but I’m referencing all time play.
if I had a free hour or so I could probably give you some other year to year comparisons. SEC changed to it’s current format in 1993, and the BE change to it’s current format in 2005.
Those numbers I provided are every game West Virginia has played against every SEC team(all time) + Cincinatti and so on.
Where are the Eer fans?
Click my name for a break down of Big East suckage.
That didn’t work, try it again.
Here is what I got:
SEC Wins
2002 Vandy 28-24 Conn.
2002 Tenn 35-14 Rutgers
2001 Tenn 33-9 Syracuse
2002 Auburn 37-34 Syracuse
2003 Tenn 10-6 Miami
Big East Wins
2001 B.C. 20-16 Georgia
2002 V.Tech 26-8 LSU
2000 Miami 37-20 Florida
2002 Miami 26-3 Tenn
2002 Miami 41-16 Florida
2003 Miami 38-33 Florida
2006 W.V. 42-14 Miss. St.
2005 W.V. 38-35 Georgia
2000 W.V. 49-38 Miss.
2001 Syracuse 31-14 Auburn
2004 Rutgers 37-34 Vandy
2005 Louisville 59-28 Kentucky
2006 Louisville 31-24 Kentucky
Wouldn’t it be a better representation to just use the records since the Big East reorganization?
2006 W.V. 42-14 Miss. St.
2005 W.V. 38-35 Georgia
2004 Rutgers 37-34 Vandy
2005 Louisville 59-28 Kentucky
2006 Louisville 31-24 Kentucky
I mean that looks a lot better… but 5 games in which you play the Absolute cream of the SEC! You get the Georgia game congrats…
The 12 teams in the SEC have a nearly 2:1 win ratio over the 8 teams of the Big East all time though.
What did college football only begin in 2001?
How convenient…
BE success is like a fart in the wind…
Passing stench…
Colt Brennan won’t be a good NFL QB unless he plays for some team that gives him 40 throws a game.
58tds/559 attempts 10.4% (1 in every 10 passes is a TD) studly, but I have a better number
3 tds/9 attempts 33.3% (1 in every 3 passes is a TD) Darren McFadden! Proof once again our best QB plays running back.
McFadden is a better QB than Pat White. Better RB too..
What the fuck? ACC vs. SEC? Oh wait, that was when the Big East actually had some good teams like Miami and Boston College.
He loves to make numbers lie..Classic BE argument
Did he say the defenses of connecticut and pitt? Conn is a basketball school, like Kentucky. You can’t take their football programs seriously. I guess Florida is football school with a basketball problem.
Great point mentioning conference wins all the way back to the beginning of this century. Anyone ever seen “The Jerk” when Steve Martin is playing the carnie guessing peoples weight?
For all the WV citizens out there, I meant carnie as a term of endearment. The nation’s traveling amusement parks would be workerless without the fine graduates of WVU
Hypocrisy and slander…
How dare you defame the name of a classic cinema character of epic proportions like Navin R. Johnson by comparing him the likes of WVU grads..
Screw all u guys i tell u this watch colt destroy in the NFL
u wannah feel the pain come to hawaii and say it to our face i know for god sake u will regret cutting him down trust me. jus wait till u meet the real people of Hawaii and all the hard hitting polynesians here
@23 Funny how all the hard hitting polynesians ran into the hard hitting Georgia Bulldogs. Funny, because ever since that game Colt Brennan’s stock has dropped because of a sucky Senior Bowl (in which Erik Ainge, Vol QB and a fine SEC QB led the team to victory) and lackluster personal workouts. If he’s gonna destroy the NFL he might just do it as an undrafted free agent, because he might not get drafted…
The more I think about it, he might just make it to the NFL. He’ll fit right in with all the rest of the ex-cons…
Oh ok we see how he will do ill bet u though he will prove that he will make the draft an to top it off ex con so wat no ones perfect mayb even u.
Yea an he wont make it into the NFL ok tell me this then how come he has the highest accuracy rating so far in the Combine huh and oh yea hes been going down bu as i see i now looks like hes fighting back.
That boel game by the way was an awful one but georgia is a very very tough team.
Georgia a tough team? Not so much
@24 Andre Ware, David Klingler, insert Texas Tech QB here, and Timmy Chang. What do these guys have in common with Colt??? System QB…
If you are looking for Colt to light up the NFL I would wait until Madden 2009 comes out and adjust your roster accordingly…
WATEVER ILL SHUT UR ASS DOWN IN MADDEN FAG
