WVU Players accused of taking something that may or may not have been theirs
Isn’t it ironic that the accused players are from Alabama and Florida? I know that Coach Rod will make the right decisions for those players. Innocent until proven guilty in my country!!! I just would not be surprised to see the fingerprints of a declining rival program all over this misunderstanding.
Here is a snapshot of my day: I first saw the news in the Morgantown paper, I prayed it would not go national but then MSNBC and ESPN [link] picked it up and said to myself “awww shiat”. I started to thinking to myself, we got quit recruiting kids from Alabama but then if we did that then we wouldn’t have Pat White. Then I thought that we need to stop recruiting Florida, but then we wouldn’t have Noel Devine. Then I prayed for some divine intervention ….then the Mike Vick plea bargain intervened. Poof, the whole mess just kinda disappeared. Prayer is so very effective even in today’s troubled world.
Here is the awful truth over this whole misunderstanding, Coach Rod can’t be with them kids 24/7, he ain’t them boys daddy. Like Coach Meyer down at Florida, we only recruit the top 1% of 1%, so rest assured you jackals looking for carrion, there is another side of the story. In case anyone is wondering, Coach Rod taught Meyer the spread option offense. In fact, Rod has taught Meyer so much, that he may as well be Meyer’s daddy!! It is lonely at the top, that’s for sure.
What makes me really sad is the envy that rival schools have for my Eers. The level of envy is just unbelievable. But West Virginia remains alone as The University of West Virginia and Coach Rodriguez is the Coach.
It’s why the teams like Georgia, Louisville, Pitt and Marshall are all out to get us. They are you know, and it’s a fact that they have conspired to set us up and now they see in their failure to destroy West Virginia that we are returning to our rightful place on top. God Bless Coach Rodriguez for staying at WVU. He could have had any pro head-coaching job, like the one at Bama, but he stayed because the Eers are Special.
As always, I consider myself to be married to Eer Football, ’til death do us part’!!! High 5’s all-around!! Oh and Thank God it wasn’t Pat or Steve, just thank God!!!

My DNA is racing through Herban Meyer’s genes, Does Herban look like he wears a sombrero and takes naps in the middle of the day?
Thanks Lou, not everything is about Florida
Mark it down, Noel Devine will do something in the next four years – that will make every Angryeer cry.
Noel is maturing everyday. I would wager that percy harvin is much more solid bet to do something that is against society’ rules.
AngryQuEer,
Isn’t it ironic that 2 more of your players, whom you ride the dick of, are also from Alabama & Florida…Pat White & Noel Devine.
I figured rod didn’t take the alabama job ’cause it’s a lot easier to fool you yokels into thinking you have a quality program than it would have been to fool bama nation into thinking he was gonna lead them to the promised land. Trust me, you all aren’t worth giving up 50 million dollars. He couldn’t handle that pressure, not when you all are so content with being on the outside looking in and still making a few million.
@5, Do you like girls? I seriously doubt it. Cause deep down in places that you don’t like to talk about, you want to bear Noel Devine’s love child ….in a dirty sordid way

He just wasn’t ready for the pressure of the ‘pro’ game. Simple answer
That made no sense at all. EerHoney do us all a favor and quit life.

I think that she called you a homo still in the closet
Yes I know. Her lame, thinly veiled attempt failed miserably.
“Do you like girls? I seriously doubt it. Cause deep down in places that you don’t like to talk about, you want to bear Noel Devine’s love child ….in a dirty sordid way”
being really nonpartisan here…but I thought it was funny as hell.
AngryEer, you still jerking off to that picture of Steve Slaton’s arms, or have you found another hillbilly crush of the week?
LOL!!! Damn Eer Honey…whose side are you on??

It appears that #13 is a troll
Where are you supposed to get your good players if Coach Rod stops getting kids from SEC country?
And Coach Rod is just waiting for Coach Paterno to ascend to the heavens, or Lloyd Carr to get fired. Whichever comes first.
You are crazy insane. Coach rod is p-whipped, he will never depart “heaven”
Troll? So that’s what you call ‘em in West VA?
Coach Rod is headed for the Big House or Happy Valley. His ego demands it. He’s already on everyone’s list of football geniuses (and I know he is, because I saw what he did with underweight, undertalented, but smart and motivated kids at Tulane), and has put together some nice seasons at WVU, but until West Virginia can upgrade its schedule (and the Big East can upgrade, period), the Mountaineers will be a nice yearly side note. He wants to go somewhere to win a national title, and for that you need a conference with more….legitimacy. A two loss SEC/ Big Ten team will play in BCS bowl, while a two loss Big East team that doesn’t win the conference is lucky to play on New Years’ Day. Blame the media or the SEC homers or whomever you like, but that’s just the facts.
I hope for your sake that you’ve got a Beamer on your hands, but I think you have a Meyer…and he’s just waiting for the next big chance to come along to take a step up. He just happened to be sane enough to realize he couldn’t handle the Alabama boosters after dealing with people who are happy as long as they play on New Years Day.
The Big East won’t be happy until all other conferences and fans bow at their feet.
The Big East fans (largely WVU) have convinced themselves that they are the best. And they have to. This is the last year of Slaton and White. They really have no hope of doing anything on a national level without them. This need to accomplish something, besides edging 1 SEC team in a BCS bowl game, has obsessed them. They are dillusional enough in this need that they are able to convince themselves that Rutgers, Loserville, and themselves can play with anyone in the country.
While I think they can competitively play top caliber teams one time, I can’t imagine a scenario where when playing LSU, Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee in one season with them coming out with anything more than 1 win. Especially after Steve Slaton is playing in the NFL, and Pat White is trying to make the cut in the CFL.
