Western Michigan: A shocker or a speed bump?

LISTEN UP SEC HOMERS: Nope, not gonna happen. 60k+ screaming Mountaineer fans, WVU ranked #3 and 6 in the polls, and unstoppable offense…hell no. They don’t have a chance and I really mean that. They DON’T HAVE A CHANCE. If some of the defenses we have played in the past have not stopped us then frickin’ MAC dwelling WMU sure as shit won’t. Even if they score a few points, we will score 30+ more than them. We will crush them and scare the piss out of the turds in Huntington while doing so.

Here is our new entrance video, chilling

They could not shock the nation and will not come within 30 of us. Even on our worst day, they will not come within 30. These past couple of years have been a different WVU team than that of Don’s last years and Rich’s first few. Teams like Florida or LSU may catch us off guard and make it close, not WMU.

I remember in 1991 when MAC champion BGSU came to Morgantown and gave us a hell of a game…WVU was the only team they lost to that year and WVU was 6-5. It’s simply a different level of football. Take a look at marshall 1997…same deal. We ended up a mediocre 7-5 and still beat their ass. They shouldn’t get their hopes up, that’s for sure. [USA Today]

Offensive player to watch: QB Dan LeFevour, So., Central Michigan – Passed for 3,031 yards and 26 TDs while leading Chippewas to 2006 league title as a freshman. Will light up the d-backs of opponents.

Defensive player to watch: DE Larry English, Jr., Northern Illinois – Set to be the league’s premier pass rusher and a shutdown defender against the rush; recorded 51 tackles, 16 for loss, with 12 sacks last year.

A coach that has the team disciplined and hitting on all cylinders:

“He instills discipline in you,” Moreland said. “He demanded perfection and wouldn’t stand for anything less. And it got to the point, that he said it so much that we took on his his personality. As players, we started to take on the discipline role and policing it ourselves.”

  1. first!!

  2. 60K + chilling = BigEast

  3. 60K + SEC = Ole Miss.

WVU would have trouble beating Ole Miss

  4. so if wvu falls on their ass this year (not likely given the schedule) can i assume angry ‘eers will disappear??? one can hope.

  5. AngryEer will only get angrier. Me too!

  6. 60K? Damn that’s small. There’s a HS in this state that seats 45K. By the way the team isn’t that disciplined when two players tried to steal computers.

Why do we care about a player from No. Illinois? You wonder why all we talk about on your posts is your lack of taste in women. The whole last section of your post is like weird gibberish. It took me three internet searches to figure out if Moreland was talking about Tricky Dick or some other MAC Coach.

  8. Don’t shockers and speed bumps both refer to teams losing when they should win?

  9. I’d give my left nad to see a West Mich Dubya on Saturday…

  10. Don’t you mean your dimebag of sticky-icky-icky?

  11. Are you crazy?!?!?

    WVu isn’t worth that…

Even over a loss to WMU…

  12. wqould that notbe the shit/ If WMU wins? I still think the Herd beats the Eers

  13. appalachian state…..the real mountaineers?????

  14. 1 doable, 1 bj, 3 and a half grenades
