Geez dude. You are not going to make through the season if you don’t find a way to be more like Chris Leak. You know, hookslide away from the first down marker? After that Western Kentucky player bomared your ass on the sideline, I quickly realized that you simply do not possess the intellect to save yourself. Of course that deficit is reflected in your 890 SAT score.
Even the goofball Jefferson Pilot announcers or whoever the network was televising the game, seemed genuinely concerned over your safety. They were being really nice and polite with the occasional reference to your “enthusiasm” while it was clear that they believed that you were borderline retarded. Not to overstate the obvious, but WKU is not an SEC defense. You are caught in the perfect storm, you are dumb, strong, fast, and playing the Spread Option in the SEC.
Keep in mind that the Spread Option offense, that was created by Rich Rodriguez, and used /borrowed by Herban Meyer isn’t real QB friendly. Sorry Gators, it is Rich Rod’s concept and Herban “borrowed” it. Think of it like in the movie the Waterboy. The scenario of when Jerry Reed (Meyer) stole Henry Winkler’s (Rodriguez) playbook.

My point is this:
All offseason long, us Gators have had to listen to fans of other SEC schools bitch about how the only thing Tebow can do is — “run over the left tackle / he’s a fullback playing QB / he’s just like Jared Lorenzen / the spread offense will never work in the SEC / he can’t pass” / blah, blah, blah.
On Saturday, he looked just fine throwing the ball – accurately – and deep down the field. Granted, like you said it was Western Kentucky.
But now, since the haters see that he hasn’t forgotten how to throw the football (after setting Florida High School State records in passing yards and passing touchdowns 2 years ago), they are switching their mantra to the – “it’s only a matter of time before some big, bad SEC defensive player lays Tebow out because he doesn’t mind taking a hit.”
It’s sad, really, that fans of other schools seem to come across almost as if they’re hoping Tebow gets hurt. He can’t win. If he runs out of bounds or slides, the haters will call him a pussy. If he stands in there, puts his head down and takes a hit, the haters call him stupid. What the fuck ever.
He should model his game after a proven winner/athlete/QB, Pat white
