Not only did Tennessee embarrass Marky Mark, they let down the Funky Bunch
Oh, bring it on! Let it rain down on me! Note that the high 5s Jackson and #4 give to one another before he scored are missing as well as the taunting after the score.
It is hard to beat both Cal and the refs. How can any coach scheme the officials?? When Florida hangs 60+ on the Vols, the officiating in Gainesville will be one of many excuses

I watched the game. Taunting and showboating must be part of their schemes because it was never called.
If I was a Pac-10 fan, I would be embarrassed by the Bears reprehensible behavior. In fact, Tedford should apologize for his lack of control. Cal really looked like the Bloods and/or the Crips
If this game was in Knoxville, the block on UT Player #80 would have been called an illegal block in the back — a la the faux block in the back call that negated a Brandon James punt return TD in the Florida game last year.
Regardless, UT will bounce back.
one word LL: Jabar Gafney
Jai:
You all got your redemption for Jabar in 2004 when Dallas Baker got called for a personal foul despite the fact that the UT player took a swipe at him, too. The penalties should have been off-setting. Then, the refs refused to start the clock allowing UT an extra 40 seconds to get in place for the winning FG. But oh well.
Horse shit, that Brandon James block in the back call was made up for just minutes later with that BS “blow to the head” on Leak. That was six points erased too my friend. further, they didn’t ‘refuse’ to start the clock, they just failed to do so. Congrats on pushing that Hilltopper Juggernaut around on Saturday.
Tyrone:
Don’t forget about your punter tripping Brandon James too to save a TD. That was pretty weak.
And by the way, how can it be a block in the back when you fall on your back?
Spin it however you want, Dude. Why are you congratulating me? I’m not bragging about a win over Western Kentucky.
Hey, I’m not disagreeing that the block in the back was was a bad call, it was. My point is that the officials made up for it moments later- both calls were equally shitty, yet most Gates fail to bring up the latter when whining about the UT ‘homecookin’. How’s that spinning?
No, I agree. The “blow to the head” was a bad call.
I was afraid that Mapu had injured his hand with the force he strike that piece of rock know as Chris Leak’s head
