It marked Bennett’s eighth game with 100+ receiving yards and eighth game with 10-or-more receptions.
With 174 career receptions, Bennett ranks 14th all-time in SEC history.

SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mouzon returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown late in the second quarter, which gave the Rebels a 23-0 lead.
It is the longest interception return in the SEC since 2003 (Odell Thurman, Georgia, vs. Auburn) and the longest at Ole Miss since 1962 (103, Louis Guy vs. Tennessee).
His fumble recovery occurred in the first half at the Memphis 9-yard line.

6-4 • 328 • Senior
Wrens, Ga. (Jefferson County HS)

After starting every game for the Bulldogs at guard in 2006, Velasco anchored the offense at center during Georgia’s 35-15 win against Oklahoma State.
Velasco helped pave the way for the Bulldog running backs to pick up 142 rushing and 376 total offensive yards against the Cowboys.
The Bulldog offensive line allowed just two sacks and had five offensive drives of eight-plays-or-more.

SEC DEFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE WEEK

AUBURN
6-3 • 254 • Senior
Greenville, Miss. (Weston HS)

Groves had five tackles, three for losses, including two quarterback sacks and a forced fumble in Auburn’s 23-13 win against Kansas State.
Late in the fourth quarter, Groves sacked Kansas State’s QB and stripped the ball in the process, allowing Antonio Coleman to return the fumble for a touchdown, preserving the Auburn win.
Groves now has 25 career sacks, which is one shy of tying the Auburn career sacks record (26, Gerald Robinson).
