Alabama fans are the most delusional college football fans I’ve ever come across. They honestly believe they have the most desirable college football program in the country, and Tuscaloosa is a nice place to live. Really. They honestly believe that.
Bama fans, however, are crazy in the “I’m delusional, and likely to believe that
a mannequin at Walmart is a VC regular and I’ve got to knife him” kind of way. I mean, The Bear speaks to the home crowd via videotape before each home game, and people literally hush their neighbor, point to the screen, and say “Shhh, Bear’s talkin’.” A coworker of mine caused an associate to cry last week by stating that Sarah Jessica John Parker Wilson is a bad quarterback anywhere else in the country, and a merely average one in the SEC. Grown man, crying. Over a nancyboy with a bad haircut who, let’s be honest, can’t play quarterback.

Alabama fans are the radical Muslims of the college football world. A long time ago, when the rest of college football sucked, they kicked ass, took names and had a true leader. The world moved on, their fortunes went down, everyone else’s went up, but all they can do is shout about their glory days and call everyone else an infidel. They want to turn the way back machine to the ancient past and pretend their time hasn’t happened.
If they weren’t drunk all the time, they would probably even blow people up.
I understnad where you’re coming from with this post. I thought I loved college football and I met an Alabama fan that in all seriousness, expected the Tide to go undefeated this season. Also, bama wives and gf’s are very similar. You don’t speak unless spoken to, you just stand there in absolute silence until your husband / boyfriend is finished telling a random stranger why Alabama football is better than air

and i was actually genuinely curious about the vols. i’m not aware of how they’re doing seeing as how i’m so focused on my team and all.

First of all if I was homer I wouldn’t pick on every team, and yes I pick on Tennessee as well.
Second of all this is a public board anyone can comment here not to mention in your first post you didn’t address Jai, you started your response with “it’s”, that would be the same as me replying with “who was talking to you?”, quit acting stupid. It’s called free speech, and thanks for visiting my blog it’s hard to believe it’s less than 2 months old with that many hits.
We will know if Bama is back in due time. I would like to think they are not. However, the amount of time and effort spent on this board trying to insist they are not suggests that a lot of other SEC teams are apprehensive.
To put it bluntly, no one has been on here insisting Kentucky is “not for real.”
