The Tony Joiner thing? yes Gates it is just a “misunderstanding”. Here are the telephone calls to the Police. Don’t tow me, Bro October 3, 2007

Posted by Jai Eugene in Outlaw Program, florida gators.
trackback

The recordings include two calls from employees reporting the incident. In the second call, a man requests that officers arrive quickly because, “They’re getting up in our face.” Sounds such as shouting or raised voices can be heard in the background.

The calls are in the following link [gatorsports]

I thought that there wasn’t anyone there to assist Joiner? So the owner wants the case dropped because no one was there to help Joiner, yet two employees were there to call the police? From those phone calls it is obvious that Joiner was there to steal the car back (AT 4:30 IN THE MORNING NO LESS) and he did not like that someone was stopping him.

Of course he wants to drop the charges, he doesn’t want the Bull Gators on his ass….Does anyone Gainesville know what the fuck is going on? Well the owner has admitted he is Gate fan, and is now actively engaged in a grab-ass game of “Save the Gator”.

Rumor is that the Tow company has a new shiny tow truck.

Herban Meyer stated after practice that Joiner is no longer captain, but is now practicing w/ the team. It appears that the spin operation did it’s job.

It can’t be anymore difficult for Joiner than this moment. Stripped of his captaincy; unable to face the “leadership committee” because he is a member of the committee; won’t play at all if he still charged with a felony (Memo to Bill Cervone Alachua County DA, rumor in Gunsville is that you have until Friday to dismiss the case) or if LSU runs roughshod on the Gator D; and ironically, Joiner has been replaced in the lineup by Dorian “Parking Boot” Anderson. [Former accused felon]

Here is Bill Cervone’s biography for those interested [link]. I found it very interesting…

You think those phone calls will change what the apologists are saying? They act like Tony rolled up to the lot at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, waited for a clerk, walked in an open lot, saw the car, and took it with the intention to pay later.

LL is video #2. I guess they took out the part when he said, “bring out the gimp.”

the Gators are oddly quiet on this, I wonder why?

It is difficult to “spin” those telephone calls. Pretty damning. The link to the state attorney gator back ground is sweet stuff.

I am going to use small words so you can understand: despite Jai’s great investigative journalism THERE IS NO WAY WHAT JOINER DID COULD BE CONSIDERED BURGLARY. There will be no felony charge and the trespass will probably fall by wayside as well. It is not some big gator conspiracy, it is simply not a case any state’s attorney would pursue.

Jim

I wish we had a reputable lawyer that could break this crime down for us.

Etiher way, Joiner will play, charges will be dismissed.

LOL, sadly, neither one of those two dudes are me. Sorry to disappoint. If I ever make it to youtube, you all will be the first to know.

Suspend Joiner. I don’t care. He’s one guy. LSU wins, 44-8.

8? 2 fgs and a safety?

10. LL - October 4, 2007

Yes - 2 FGs and a late safety in garbage time.

I don’t know about you guys, but I often have misunderstandings at 5 o’clock in the morning. In fact, as far as I know, impound lots are open at those hours for a self-service type pickup of your car.
