Looked like a clean hit to me

I would bet that Herban “George Jetson” Meyer would counter that the hit was tardy.  Good to see the Joiner thing was really just a misunderstanding after all.  And is this officiating crew the same one from the Barn Game?  Does Florida ever use a different crew?

Or this view?  Still clean to me

A Bull Gator’s work is never done as the illumnati reaches deeper into the ref’s pocket

George Jetson

LSU’s weakest link?

The Bow taunts the crowd.  Yes there is a guy named Tart

More taunting from our humble Christian lad

A corndog.  What else can you say?

Gary Danielson said it best, “He (Joiner) can go anywhere he wants”.

  1. kudos corn dogs, you win….. great effort and hopefully we’ll see you again in the ATL.

that said, it’s funny how much difference a couple weeks makes…now, us gators are hoping for fulmer to slip up, otherwise, it’s capital one all the way for tebow and the boys.

speaking of tebow, he played a helluva game. florida’s defense played inspired, and actually hung in there better than i expected. we’re young, and we’ll be back….when a team converts fucking 5-5 on 4th down, there’s not really much you can do except shake your head and say…’you beat us’.

  2. i’m actually not that upset….i realize florida played about as well as they could, considering the circumstances….

    jorts rule!

  3. Talk all the shit you want. UF led for 59 of 60 minutes in “the toughest place to play” in all of America on the #1 team in the land in a night “game” when they’re “unbeatable”. Wow. Fuckin’ great.

UT beat Georgia. Big fuckin’ deal. We’ve done that 15 out of 17 years. What a great feat. Good job, Ainge. ‘Bout time you showed up, AT HOME!

All year long you fuckers have talked about “wait til Glenn Dorsey gets a hold of Tebow; Tebow’s going down, LSU’s Defense is going to own Tebow.” – what the fuck ever! Dorsey got worked. Most of the night by a Freshman named Pouncey so fuck off!

I’m not mad because the future looks bright. REAL bright. Real fuckin’ Bright!

Enjoy this while you can. Because it won’t last for long. And you know it won’t.

Lastly, Highsmith dove straight for Tebow’s ankles when there was no reason to do so. But whatever. When you wake up tomorrow it won’t change the fact that you lost to UF 59-20 and that you’re 5-11 against UF in the past 16 years.

  4. if it makes you feel any better I plan on ranking them in the top 10 of the AOL Fanhouse top 25.

I thought that Miles was the weak link, I was wrong. Matt Flynn is LSU’s weak link

and you can’t change the fact that UF is on a losing streak and Meyer can’t control his players ff the field

  5. It’s cool, Geightors.

You guys weren’t ready to lead the east.

The Big Orange will take it from here. Thanks for all the help in motivating our superior, morally and athletically,(you know Fulmer would beat the fuck out of pinhead Herban) coaches and players.

    Sincerely,

    The Vols

  6. Good game Gaytors. Yes, Tebo is a god and the future looks bright.

For the record, as the fim shows, Highsmith hit Tebow in the hip while still on the field then slid down. No cheap shot but still a dumb move towards a quarterback that will get flagged every time and hurt your team.

The early Gator lead added to the drama but the sad fact fact is that LSU outscored FLA 21-7 in the second half and the Gators only had 37 fourth quarter yards. If Les the Dense hadn’t kept trying to be cute earlier on with the passing and just pounded away all game, it wouldn’t have been nearly as close.

  7. “Talk all the shit you want. UF led for 59 of 60 minutes in “the toughest place to play” in all of America on the #1 team in the land in a night “game” when they’re “unbeatable”. Wow. Fuckin’ great.”

Moral Victories all around! Or was it high 5′s? UF & Meyer folded like a deck of cards in a game that meant everything and when the game was on the line.

  8. Moral victories don’t mean shit. We still lost.

What sucks is that UT will probably win out now and make it to Atlanta. I mean that sucks for us Gators, not for you Vol fans.

McMillan and Estopinian are worthless on the D-Line. At this point, Mattison and Strong need to just put in Torrey Davis, Carlos Dunlap, Justin Trattou, etc., and let them take their lumps this year. They can’t play any worse than McMillan and Estopinian so why not?

    Jai-
I was actually surprised to see UF drop to 13th in the AP. I thought they would only drop to 11. Oh well.

  9. lilac….the gators only had 37 fourth quarter yds b/c they had the ball for all of 1-2 minutes! lsu pounded away all game….as it goes with this strategy, you generally start reaping the rewards towards the end, a la the 4th quarter, against worn out defenses. so….you’re trying to insinuate that lsu should’ve won by more?! incredible……

  10. nica,
    no insinuation, just obvious reality
you seem to be making my point for me. a well as their d played, the gators were worn out at the end. i’m just saying they would have been exhausted sooner had lsu went with their strength of running the ball instead of wasting 26 downs passing trying to beat fla at their own game. 26 more rushes = at least another td. I understand lsu’s kicker offered to run or recieve to help with the effort. anything but actually attempt to kick a field goal. and the 37 4th qtr yards included the last minute prevent coverage.

i give the gators their due and hope they can make it to atl because this is one matchup i’d like to see again.

  11. the gators defensive strength is vs. the run. this was the first 100 yds.+ game they had given up all year. their glaring achilles heel is the 2 freshman corners, who’ve been burned by troy, auburn, and ole miss. to not try and go after them would’ve been asinine……and we all know les ‘einstein’ miles knew better.

listen, lsu had to mount several long-ass drives, with the help of chicanery, 5 fourth down conversions, and a little luck. you make it sound like florida got owned. that wasn’t the game i saw. in fact, florida was shoving it down lsu’s throat until moore fumbled. that, and tebow’s INT changed the game completely. the momentum shifted, and that was it….

like i said before, we had the ball for about 2-3 minutes the entire 4th quarter. if my math is correct that’s about a 370 yard per game/avg. against the best defense in college football. at any rate, the whole 37 yds in the fourth thing is a bunch of bullshit. irrelevant.

  12. gator d strength used to be vs the run…247 yds which could & should have been more. Why throw it when you don’t have to? where did i say fla played badly; Tebow is baby jesus! all i’m saying is it could have played out worse for the gators had Les not insisted on trying to keep up with the meyers.

as far as the 4th thing being irrelevant, if you want the ball for more than 2 minutes, then take it and keep it. the 37 yds is the whole story. had fla been able to do anything off substance on either side of the ball at that time, they would have won.

  13. when a team takes 4 plays to get 10 yds. consistently for the length of the football field, it tends to eat a lot of clock. that….coupled with a fumble and INT explains why we had the ball for 2 minutes….but, anyway, i digress….we’ll just agree to disagree i suppose.

  14. “I thought that Miles was the weak link, I was wrong. Matt Flynn is LSU’s weak link”

WTF? Flynn had a very nice game after the INT. His numbers would look a lot better without FIVE drops.

  15. So which one is the weak link? Miles or Flynn. Miles was pretty much balls to the wall in an insane way.

    Go EERs

  16. i’ll drink to that & hope both team make it to atl. happy columbus day to you & yours. replay in on cst as we speak & ms bushmills is whispering my name.
