    By the way, how many SEC championships has Phil Fulmer won during his looooooooooong tenure in Knoxville? I think it is a grand total of TWO. And he hasn’t won a championship of any kind during this millenium . . .correct? Yes that IS correct I think . . . .

    Come to think of it, Phat Phil hasn’t even surpassed the SEC championship totals of Johnny Majors, has he?

    C’mon man, how many SEC championships has any one coach won during Fulmer’s tenure?

    Spurrier – 4
    Richt – 2
    Saban – 2

    The SEC is the only conference where you have to coach against the likes of Fulmer, Spurrier, Saban, Richt, and Miles. Shit, even Rich Brooks won championships in other leagues (pac 10) and look like shit in the SEC. It’s just very difficult.

    You can’t win it all every year – other conferences have less intimidating coaches. In the Big 10 you’ve got one coach, Tressell, in the Big 12, again, two, Stoops and Brown, in the WAC-10 it’s Carroll and that fella from Cal.

    Err . . .Phat Phil has been a HC in this conference for 15 years and has TWO championships. Saban has that many in 5. Richt hasn’t been around as long as the Pumpkin – ditto Spurrier during the time frame YOU set.

    Both Johnny Majors and Doug Dickey – those coaching masterminds – exceeded Phat Phils championship production at UT.

    Pat Dye won 4 SEC titles in 10 seasons at AU, BTW.

    Facts are stubborn things,. Even Big Orange BS can’t budge them.

    And BTW Jai – in that MNC you are so proud of at UT – if Arkansas takes a knee UT wouldn’t have even made the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Damn lucky – but you have it fair and relatively square.

    Enjoy it. Phil will never win another championship. He’s starting a second decade of championship-free football at UT now. Enjoy it.

    Oh – for LSUfootballanalyst – Spurrier has won FIVE SEC titles since Fulmer has been the HC at UT, not 4 as you said. (source: Wikipedia)

    So it goes like this: Fulmer: 15 years – 2 titles
    Spurrier: 14 years – 5 titles
    Saban: 5 years – 2 titles
    Pat Dye: 12 years – 4 titles

    You can safely assume Phil Fulmer will never win another championship. He’s heading for a second decade of banner-free seasons right now.

    As for the crack about the “People’s National Championship” Auburn – unlike UT – has an SEC championship in this millineum.

    Children who were in first grade when Phat Phil won his LAST championship are now approaching their high school graduation . . .
