Not that I give 2 shits about Big East Football, but frankly I was surprised to learn the UConn played football, had a winning record and was a member of the Big East BCS B-List Conference.
UConn must be the Big East’s ‘Florida’, receiving the benefits of homecooking and non-calls. check out this SEC-esque officiating:

Eugene, at times this blog is funny as hell. However, your jelousy of Florida has become an obsession that destroys the humor that can make this blog a good one. It has gotten very old to a guy who despises Florida himself.
should i have referenced the ole miss-spuat call? pick your poison
This talk of OSU and their OOC schedule is ridiculous. You look at every top team and they all play cupcake OOC conference schedules. OSU if anything has stepped out of that box more than anything to beef up thier OOC schedule. This year just happens to be down because Washington did not continue to be good. They were part of a home and home from back when UW was a top 10 team. They just finished two years of playing Texas. They have USC in 2008 and 2009 and after that they have already set up Oklahoma and Miami. But let’s look at what the other powerhouses and OSU play in their OOC this year since OSU is the only team playing average teams while everyone else is playing top 10 teams.
USC- Idaho, Nebraska, Notre Dame Combined record 6-15
Oklahoma- N. Texas, Miami, Utah State, Tulane Combined record 6-19
LSU- La Tech, Md Tenn, Tulane, Va Tech Combined record 11-15
S Carolina- La Lafeyette, S Car St, Clem, UNC Combined record 10-16
California- Tenn, Colorado St, La Tech Combined record 6-12
WVU- W. Michigan, Marshall, Maryland, E. Carolina Combined record 11-15
Ohio State- Youngstown St, Akron, Wash, Kent St Combined record 13-15
So outside of LSU playing Va tech (who is highly over rated in my opinion) no body has played a “top” OOC opponet. USC had Nebraska and Oklahoma played Miami but like Washington those teams are not as good as expected and are not tough teams this year.
Fact is OSU has beaten every team they have played this year. Their offense doesn’t struggle like everyone says they do, they average over 414 yds a game, right there with USC, Cal and LSU and their defense is tops in the nation. They have 2 senior starters on offense (FB and RT) and 1 Sr starter on defense (SLB) so this team is around to stay like it always is.
Last year was an annomily. If any doubts that 51 straight days off with no game had no affect on the outcome you do not understand football. I’m not saying they would have won but come on it was that much of a mismatch.
A Buckeye is a worthless nut.
Your argument based on out oof conference records is poor. You did not take into consideration the level of strength each team faced in compiling their records.
USC at least playes or played Nebraska and ND.
Oklahoma played Miami
South Carolina plays Clemson
Cal played Tennessee and Colorado State
Each of those teams was not a cupcake when they were scheduled. Most of those teams are still fairly talented.
Now lets look at Ohio State’s out of conference scheduled teams…..Youngstown St, Akron, Wash, Kent St……each is and was a cupcake when scheduled and played. None are from a recognized power conference.
Did I tell you that a buckeye is a worthlesss nut?
ummm, sec has had questionable calls, but i havent seen that before. the ref was standing right there, looking at the play. at least we hide it. if that wouldve shown on the monitors down here, there could be a riot. and not a hee hee we’re burning couches riot
I’ll go with comment #1.
Didn’t Florida lead the SEC in penalties last year? Florida was one of the most penalized teams in the NCAA at #118

The only home cooking is that meth lab in your kitchen.
Fuck you Omar, I live in Alabama. We cook our meth in the bathtub

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WASHINGTON HAS A GOOD TEAM, AND ITS ALWAYS TOUGH TO GO IN THERE AND WIN. KENT ST WILL WIN THE MAC, WHICH ISNT MUCH, BUT ITS BETTER THAN LOU. MONROE OR WHOEVER IT IS LSU PLAYS. I DIDNT SAY OUR OOC WAS BETTER, BUT ITS EQUAL. AND THE U, AND ND AND NEBRASKA ALL HAVE SUCKED FOR A WHILE SO THEY ARN’T THAT TOUGH EITHER. AND ARE U REALLY GIVING PROPS TO CAL FOR COL. ST? THEY OF THE WAHT 14 GAME STREAK WHER THEY FORGOT HOW TO WIN?
CLEMSON WAS KINF OF TOUGH WHEN SC HAD THEM BUT THEY ARE STARTING THEIR MID YEAR SWOON WHERE THEY SUCK TOO. AND FOR THE RECORD, WHEN UW WAS PUT ON THE LIST FOR THIS YEAR, THEY WERE STILL GOOD, AND WE HAD TO PUT OFF THE GAME UNTIL WE HAD AN OPENING, REMEMBER, WE PLAYED TEAMS THAT ARE GOOD OOC EVERY YEAR AT AT LEAST TRY TO.
SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS, IM AT WORK, NEED TO HAVE THEM ON
GO BUCKEYES
OH, AND IF YOU REALLY WANNA ARGUE THIS, HOW ABOUT USING REAL STATS NOT THIS WELL THEY SUCK WE ROCK CRAP BE A MAN ABOUT IT PUSS
Here is a stat…
Tosu’s record vs. the SEC in bowls… 0-8.
Kiss the rings Fuckeye.
You’re right. All this talk about the SEC vs tOSU makes no sense. Your entire conf on one side of the ball vs us, I’d expect you to win. I can’t stand people who want to argue football and try to talk about their conf being better than another. Stupid talk. It’s one thing if the conf is bad, which we can all agree some are. But it’s clear to me that using stats and reason will not make any sense to anyone on here. I hereby withdraw my argument. With that thought, I will go an enjoy the rest of my weekend while I can enjoy my team’s easy win over a team that everyone of you said would manhandle us. Just like you did when we played UW and Perdont. So you enjoy talking about how great your conf is, in a place where Vandy can beat what you say is the 6th best team in the nation, and I will enjoy my number 1 ranking and record with nothing listed in the L side. Enjoy that debate.
Oh, Go Buckeyes!
We will see, if any of your sorry asses are really good enough to make it to the Big Easy, we will then see how great you are. Remember, this is a D that’s number 1 in the nation, today only gave up 3 points, since MSU’s 2 TDs were scored by their D, and our O is gettting better and better. So if it means you can debate how the SEC is better than the Big Ten, whatever. When my Big Ten team beats up on someone from the ACC or Big East and wins the NC, we will see how that fight is going then. Until then, argue all you want.
I hate OSU. If I was a betting man, #11 Mr. Buckeye, OSU’s 0-8 record vs the SEC is pure comedy.
When the game finally mattered, when all the opinions and pollsters in the world weren’t there to back them up, the Buckeyes got their pants pulled down and spanked in front of the world. Buckeye fans can talk all they want to talk but they’re very short on credibility these days. Florida was a good SEC team last year, and absolutely destroyed the the clear cut best team in the Big Televen. Talk about your team and your games all you want but honestly no one knows what the fuck you’re talking about. No one watches OSU games. Auburn-LSU, Florida-Kentucky, Alabama-Tennessee, now those are football games that mean something. No one outside of Columbus gives a shit about the Buckeyes.
High 5 Omar. You speak the truth
