Better learn the words to that John Denver song, after we win the NC, it will rocket back to #1 on the billboard charts. Just like my Eers!!! High 5!!!
My BCS Projections:

1. LSU- when they good they are amazing plus one loss and almost one more caused a shockwave to rock the Tigers and they started clicking. I don’t see them losing anymore.
2. WVU- we will win out. No other teams look convincing enough to stay winless or win when it matters. We have the talent all we need is the drive.
3. Oklahoma- WVU and OU will be fighting for the number 2 spot but WVU will edge OU after OU gets one more lose within the next two weeks.
4. Virginia Tech- Tech blows but the ACC swallows. Look for Tech to have 2 losses but get the BCS bid from the ACC championship.
5. Pac-10 winner. To hard to tell who has this… for all I know Stanford might break the top 10.
I expect us to come away with the Big East (assuming we win out, seeing as how I must be humble in a time like this), with USF slipping up to UConn (this Saturday) or Cincy. That would give us an automatic BCS bid.

But also, we wouldn’t even need to win the Big East if we could run the table and have a couple teams in front and behind us lose. ESPN has said before to don’t be suprised to see WVU and Oregon in the National Championship, while some analyst (forgot his name, running back for Minnesota…Smith I believe) said his picks were Oklahoma and WVU in the big game. It is a sure possibility, with the conference championships hopefully going to help us out as well.

For White, this is statistically his best season so far. I believe he will continue, and if at full health, have one of the better seasons in Mountaineer history, depending on what we do in the bowl. Slaton, whom I was worried about ever since Marshall, I expect to have a strong second half of the season (and so does ESPN). Whether he gets 1,300 yards (which is what he’s on pace for) or 1,500, he isn’t going to win the Heisman over Matt Ryan or even McFadden for that matter. I actually expect to see him back next year, because his stock will rise soooo much if he does.

I’m projected a 10-1 finish, with a berth in a BCS bowl or even the NC. White will get 1,500 yds passing and over 1,000 rushing, while Slaton will post 1,300-1,4000 rushing but his best TD total of his career.
