Mike, you don’t seem to realize that you hold all the power, and somehow the weaker conferences continue to have their way with the BCS. If we see BC vs. OSU in the National Title game, it’ll be yet another travshamockery (UF Vs OSU?). The playing field is so slanted towards Big10, Big East, and the ACC who do not play anyone and remain undefeated, even though the rest of the college-football world knows your team is a joke but they seem to move up the standings on the virtue of being undefeated.
There are at least 6 teams in the SEC that could win a best of 7 on a neutral field with Boston College or Ohio State. The fact that these two teams may edge out Florida, or LSU for a shot at the National Championship is disgusting and repulsive and all the more reason that we have got to have a playoff.
Stand up for your Conference, Mike Slive. Demand a playoff. Demand a change from a system that rewards pussy-conferences and mediocrity.
