The college football world needs a break from Ohio State. It’s not that we don’t appreciate your contributions to the game, we do……………..it’s just that you don’t deserve to be in the National Championship game and everybody knows it.
To be honest, you didn’t really deserve to be there last year either. Your signature win was against a rebuilding Texas team. This year I have no idea who you have beaten but I seem to remember seeing a Youngstown State score flash across my screen at some point this season.
To an SEC fan, last year’s game just confirmed what we already know……we play a faster game, we hit harder, and we are just better than you. If you think THAT Florida team was a juggernaut, just wait until LSU gets their turn with you…………it will NOT be pretty. LSU would dance all over your face. And you don’t want to meet up with their fans after a game. It’s a nightmare.
In my opinion, a one loss Oregon is just as deserving as an undefeated Ohio State team. I think the Buckeyes should be punished retroactively for last years performance. The PAC-10 has stepped up its game in recent years and now command more respect nationally than the Big-10.
Please Ohio State, give us a break. No offense intended but please excuse yourself from the national championship race this season. That would give you more time to work on the gameplan for next year’s Youngstown State game.
