Interestingly enough, I once advocated the removal of the BCS Berth from the Big East Conference. Nowadays, I think that the Big 10 has replaced the Big East as the most inept BCS Conference. We should initiate a letter writing campaign to expel the Big 10 from the BCS. Why? …the team who lost to APPALACHIAN STATE could be playing in Pasadena come New Year’s Day.

Now as for these rankings, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING? Are you kidding me? I’ll give you 1, 2, 3, 4 for now, but 5 and 6 are backwards. 7 is about right for UGA, ASU is horrible, and I can tell that ranking is based on the same reason everyone here thinks the Pac 10 is good this year, b/c the media wants you to think it, so you start to, having not watched them play. ASU is lucky to go 7-4 in the Big East or ACC, they suck. They have only come this far b/c they played no one. They need to be about 18th. Texas, well the same shit can be said about them, they are not that good, and haven’t been all year. They are the team still ranked high that no one remembers to watch or lower in the rankings. They haven’t played a good game all year. And not being the OSU homer, there is no way they are better than the Buckeyes, but I wouldn’t expect you to get that one right. OSU is still about the 7th or 8th best team in the country, which is really where I thought they were to start the year, before they starting playing unbelievable football. Lucky for you all, they stepped down from that cloud for a week, but will return next week over scUM. Va Tech and Clemson they normally would be well over rated where you have them, but there isn’t anyone else to step up in those spots, but Va Tech is horribly over rated anywhere in front of at least #20. As for the rest of them, other than Cal is really bad and doesn’t deserve to be ranked at all, not bad.

You mentioned a bunch of follies that happened early in the year, same as every other year. I take it you’re in your early 20′s and haven’t been watching football for very long.
Once you’re not a newb, you’ll realize they’ve been doing this a lot longer than you have and know just a bit more than some random midwest cretin. Minus the occasional anomaly, things will be just about right at the end of the season. Same as always.

Speaking of being “force fed”, that’s what ESPN and ABC did all of last year. They shoved it down our throats week in and week out that OSU and Michigan were by far the 2 best teams in the nation and that their annual game was the “game of the century.” OSU also waltzed through their schedule with ease up until the NC Game against UF.
As a college football fan (not a Gator) I felt duped by the “experts” last year because from mid-October on through the end of the season all they did was talk about OSU and Mich. And at the end of the season, they were exposed for what they really were: 2 teams not worthy of all the hype.
I’m happy with the way things have turned out so far this season, I know it destroyed anyone making predictions however..
4,5,6 are weak teams, IMO. Oklahoma is okay, and Mizz is okay, WVA doesn’t need to be up there, it’s definately out of place.
Texas and SoCal don’t need to be that high as well. Florida should be a little higher, I mean, even at 3 losses, they have a stacked friggin’ schedule, and all their losses are from Top 25 teams as of last week. Auburn dropped out after getting pan fried by UGA, but even still.. 2 losses from #7 and #1, isn’t something to just ignore.
I predict Tenn to loss one more game. I think they will squeek by Vandy, and lose it very close to KY. UGA is going to be angry, and they want it more I think, I predict them by 3 over KY this week, then the reg. season is done… Oh wait.. I forgot Tech… Yeah, I was right the first time, they are done.

And to be quite honest, after a roller coaster season with a fantastic ending like this, we want to play someone just as exciting, so if you’ll please step the side and allow the big kids to get on the ride, I’d appreciate it. Your not tall enough for the thrill that is SEC football.
