Honestly, Georgia was the worst team we have played all year other than Louisiana Lafayette. Mississippi State was far more competitive. South Carolina was easily better too. Arkansas at least had a decent kickoff return

Any UGA fan that doesn’t want the SEC title first is ignorant and misguided. A non-title, BCS game is weightless if you don’t come in as your conference champ. I and every UGA fan I run with want to see UGA in the SEC title game and not be an at-large against Hawaii or some other chump.
As we sit today, UT is the SECe champ and they’ve earned it. I’ve got zero problems with that. Sure you embarrassed the conference with the pimp slapping from Cal, but that doesn’t matter and you embarrassed UGA in return. I think yall could’ve scored 100 points that day. UT played good enough in conference to get there and that’s good enough for me.
I also know that you and any other idiot that starts blanketing a fan base doesn’t represent well either. You live in GA, so expect to hear from the rednecks that buy UGA hats from QuikTrip. They claim to be UGA fans, but they’re not. I know you think they are, but they fail the test really quick. Before you label, ask these questions:
1- What time do they play this weekend?
2- Who is the 3rd string quarterback?
3- Who is the other team’s starting quarterback?
4- Who is the other team’s coach?
If any person can’t answer at least 3 of those 4 questions within 5 seconds, they’re not a fan.

wow, what a response. first of all, you seem to be in the minority of ga fans. i have been to many ut games at sanford and come into contact with a lot of ga fans. i would say the most cocky are the younger alumni …not the salt of the earth, trucker cap wearing ones (i wont even comment on the students b/c they are bad at every school). again, this has been my experience being a ut fan in ga.

The AJC sports section is just fine with reporting game summaries, but most of the stuff written by Mark Bradley and Terence “I hate whitey” Moore is either pandering to the lowest common denominator or flaming the lowest common denominator in metro Atlanta. After you get to know a few sports reporters, you realize that they’re not all-knowing sports gods. Many of them are cool and know they’re position and that there are people out there that know better and that it’s their job to find those people to bring the good stuff.
Now, if your talking about the article that reports the very slight chance that if UGA wins out and other teams lose that UGA could play in the BCS title game, then your denying that there is a possibility. It ain’t happening and I know that, but the AJC has papers to sell and web traffic to generate and what better way to do that than to write articles like that directed at the largest fan base in their coverage area.

I don’t see why people finesse UGA fans so much for the success that has come this season in the late haul.. It’s like we’re all MountainQueer fans, and blind in a blissful dream that we’re fucking amazing, and have always been.
It’s exciting to have a good season, and to feel like you have the puzzle together and working right. UT put the beat down on a super flat UGA team. They beat ass, plain and simple. Smacked them in the mouth.. However, UT has gotten embarassed over simpler games, so I don’t see where they get all the shit talk from. UT and fat boy fulmer are usually up and down.. Hot and then cold.. and the colder.

Well.. UGA didn’t look like they have against KY. 4 turnovers, to KY’s 3. Seems like everyone wanted to give it all away..
UGA’s defense was stout. 29 yards of rushing on 29 carries. Averaging 4.25 sacks a game, and allowed less than 300 yards in the last 2 games.
The defense and special teams were golden in this game, when the offense couldn’t pass for anything today, and the running game had to get a late start.
Moreno= still a beast.
UT fans had their hearts tuggin’ from ol’ Dores this weekend.. 1 point Vols.. At home too.. I didn’t expect it to be that close, and god damn the Vandy kicker.
KY was good… I enjoyed the game.. Woodson and Company have a good team together, the screens and short passes were on target, and Little is a helluva runner. They won’t lose next week to UT.. They aren’t gonna drop 2 in a row right now.
UGA fans are obnoxious as all getout… and I’m a UGA fan – but every school has them, even the Vols, who outplayed the hell outta my Dawgs that day… do I think we’re a better team now than we were that day, of course – I’d expect that it’d be a different game – but I’m biased… the fact of the matter is that UT won and played great – have to give credit where credit is due
