Sly Croom is going to own Bama for awhile and make them regret that decision of not hiring him. He is going to own them like Fulmer and Tubberville owns them
Croom should have been hired at Alabama. Would the Red Elephant Club have allowed him stay with the 3 win seasons that Miss State has? No. The powers that be would have been calling for his head after the first season.
But I think he would have been a better hire than Mike Shula was. And he is a man of integrity, something that is sorely lacking in T-Town nowadays. Oh, he would have been cheaper hire with the same, if not better results. Remember, Croom is a Bear boy, not a mercenary.
The local radio Bammer media have begun to openly question Coach Nick Saban’s ability to exhibit the leadership qualities necessary to lead a team of impressionable young men. Plus they think they are paying to much money for the number of wins versus losses.

Yeah…. not so much. Croom has beaten us these last two years, but I doubt you’ll ever see him win more than 8 games at MSU on a consistent basis.

I remember before the season one of the talking heads from ESPN who sounds like a Sylvester/Tweety hybrid stated that Saban was good for 3 wins a year just because he is there. This is the same guy that said Bama would win 9 games this year. So if you take 3 wins away, does that mean that Bama is no better than Ole Miss??? And does $4 million make up for those 3 extra wins???
