Bammers, Steady in the Saddle….Steaaaadddddyyyyy (part 2)

Bammeroids, steady in the saddle, steady. Wait until the Crown Prince opens up the offense. He was just fucking around with Louisana-Monroe [Link]with the hope of lulling the Aubies into thinking that Bama sucks. Now everyone will see that the coach is a genius. I betcha that Saban had this loss in mind when he wrote out the process on stone tablets.

One thing is for certain: Saban may have been outcoached on the field, but he sure as hell wasn’t outpaid.

Don’t you see Saban’s brilliant strategy? By losing to Mississippi State and Louisiana-Monroe he has hurt Auburn’s (and possibly LSU) strength of schedule assuring they will not be invited to a prestigious New Years Bowl. No real Bama fan really cares if Saban can get his team up to beat the likes of UL-Monroe or not. Next year, or the next, or the next is the promised land and that is all that matters.

Does anyone remember during last week’s news conference after being Croomed when “Coach” said, “someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.” It’s like Coach Saban is planting trees…one day those trees will grow up and the Crimson Tide will be on top of the NCAA again. Everyone else will be in their shadow… again. You just have to give Coach Saban the requisite time to get his program in order…to get it “rolling”! I, a Tennessee fan who knows that Alabama built the SEC, call on all true Alabama fans to take a stand and support Coach Saban.  Don’t believe websites like this who only want to confuse you [YMSWWC]

True Bama fans: Bama has tradition! with that tradition and history why do they even need a coach? Why not just parade around the field with history and tradition flags and forget about the football? They can still be on ESPN because they are Alabama!

“Why not just parade around the field with history and tradition flags and forget about the football?”

I can see it now. Pre-game, they parade a replica statue of Bear like the one that sits outside the stadium. They will put it on a trailer hitched to a crimson colored Ford F-350. Fans will throw rolls of toilet at this Golden Calf…sorry…statue of Bear, just like God’s people did after Moses led them across the River Nile.

Rachel Nichols will do an in depth piece about the virgin sister/cousin that will be the Bama sacrifice to Bear, so that the apostle Saban can deliver another championship. The native sons of the state, from Hoover to Huntsville, will sing hymns of victory about the Trinity: Bear, Stallings, and Saban. This almost brings a tear to my eye…

I remember when that woman who is nothing but class, Collette Connell told us that Bama was going to be bowling. So much optimism from the Bammers back then, where did it all go?

“So much optimism from the Bammers back then, where did it all go?”

They sold a good part of it in order to subsidize Saban’s salary. RTR!!!

By bowling, maybe they meant the Diamond Lanes next door to the Bigger Jigger, where Vint, Naomi, and Mama Harper hang out. They forgot to take the keys away from Ms. Connell that faithful day when Saban touched down…

i wonder how many crimson women “fell” down the trailer steps today? I doubt emergency officials were prepared for this

That Brent Schaffer is going to be special down at ole miss

  7. 2007 November 17

Doubt those emergency Red Cross supplies sent to hospitals in preparation for next weekend made it there yet. Many Bammer wives and sons are in the ICU right now.

Those poor women….missing clumps of hair, pissing blood and missing teeth.

I wonder if the officiating crew was SEC or Sunbelt. If it was sunbelt, the roids and red elephants could get at them.

it was the difference in the game…i feel it

Looking at some of the Bammers on the message boards is comedy.

“Saban lost to UAB his first year at LSU. Calm down people!”

Its bad when you can say UAB is a tradition laden program compared to the team UAT lost to today. The ULM Nutira pwn3d the Tihd today.

  11. 2007 November 17

I know what it was: ULM employed their secret weapon today: former waterboy Bobby Boucher. Coach Klein was saving him just for today’s game. Good job coach…You Can Do It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    So… how’s it going?

BTW, I can’t seem to use my WordPress account on here, so I had to fill out the name and e-mail section.

TideDruid, I guess the better question is “How are YOU doing”???

  18. 2007 November 18

I’m making it alright. I’m usually able to have a somewhat decent day after a loss, although I cannot speak for others.

I did attend the game, and actually saw Jai’s favorite fan with the back tatoo. He was a few rows behind me in the student section wearing a kilt.

  19. 2007 November 18

Not to rub salt in the wound, but how much was ULM compensated for their trip to T-town?

  20. 2007 November 18

I told y’all that saban would lay a turd against a weak team.

  21. 2007 November 18

If I had to guess, I’d say $500k

With all the coaching shifts that may be coming the SEC’s way, Saban’s acquisition by Alabama, even at so high a cost, may be seen (in about 2-3 years) as a fantastic move made at just the right time. They locked up a coaching talent and prevented him from a return to LSU (unless, and this is a big unless, LSU wants to spend in the 10’s of millions to hire him away) and other schools in the SEC, like Arkansas, will be driven to pick only the very best coaches out there, and it will come at a premium. Saban’s hiring should pay off for Alabama in the long run, and for the SEC as well.
