Delusional Bammeroids – Saban compares ULM loss to 9-11 and Pearl Harbor

(They don’t give a shit what you think!! Bama’s Back, RTR!!!)
Amazing, just when you thought that Bammeroids had hit rock bottom, Saban decides to take it to another level. I can’t wait to see how the Red Elephants spin machine turns this gaffe into a positive.
Nick Saban is one screwed-up dude. And Bammers wonder why the rest of College Football thinks that they are f’n delusional idiots [SI, HT YMSWWC]. The victims and families of the WTC, the Pentagon, United Flight 93, Soldiers/Sailors/Airman/Marines are really impressed with Alabama and Nick Saban.
“What Coach Saban said did not correlate losing a football game with tragedy; everyone needs to understand that. He was not equating losing football games to those catastrophic events,” football spokesman Jeff Purington said in a statement to The Associated Press.
No, that’s exactly what he was doing. Like, whatever (hair toss.)
They have a “football spokesman? For $4,000,000.00 a year you’d think Ole Saint Nick could speak for himself.
2005: Entire sporting world, except desperate Miami Dolphins fans: “Wow, that Nick Saban is a gigantic douchebag.”
2007: Entire sporting world, except desperate Bammeroids: “Wow, that Nick Saban is a gigantic douchebag.”
At least ol’ Saint Nick left the Dolphins in good shape, huh?
What’s that you say? The team he left and drafted is on course to break the NFL’s all-time losing streak? Get out of town!
In related news, Alabama fans have now revised their usual “just wait till next year” refrain till 2009, 2010, or maybe 2011.
But just like always at Alabama, Coach _____ is here to clean up the expensive mess of Coach ______!!

Incredibly, incredibly thoughtless statement by Nick Saban. The Tide is an average team in an above-average conference, and they let their guard down when playing another mediocre team. End of story. No need to pull out the comparisons to tragic days in American history.
I am speechless. Can Bama overcome this?
I wonder how long this “relationship” can last. Not even Bammers can make football bigger than 9-11
Please. He could say anything and you’d spin it negatively. Did you know that your team is playing this weekend? For a chance to go to the SEC championship? I was just asking, b/c you seem to like Bama so much, you don’t really write about the good things going on within your own program.
Just call it like it is – do you hate Bama more than you like TN?
@4, You seem like you might have 1/2 a Brain Cell. Surely you can’t possibly find a silver lining in this shitstorm? The national media is going to crucify your coach, your football team, and your fanbase.
/I would think that just saying “iam sorry cause my coach is an idiot” would be easier than playing spin doctor.
//Clearly this embarrassing. Not nappy headed ho embarrassing, but maybe Mikes price/dubose level of embarrassing
Ok – I found the link to the audio of the PC. Nick’s comments are not “PC” and could be viewed to be inappropriate.
But he DIDN’T actually compare losing a football game to 9/11 or Pearl harbor -
What he said – in effect – was, to paraphrase here -
9/11 was to world politics, and Pearl Harbor was to WWII, as these losses are to our football season.
He did NOT say that this loss was comparable to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor.
A subtle difference probably lost on anyone who heard the words “9/11″ and “Pearl Harbor” coming out a coach’s Press Conference. Not terms you are expecting to hear. I’d rather our coach didn’t use terms like that in a football press conference, still – its clear he was not equating a football game to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor . . . . or a war against Nazi Germany – and that HAS been done before at a certain SEC-W school . . .
Not even the former Iraqi PR guy can hide this, but the Bammers are giving the spin a try.
RTR! Class of the SEC!
He used an anology.
An Analogy is a comparison.
Apple : red :: Bannana : yellow
9/11 : AMERICAN politics :: losing : Bama
He was saying that a terrorist attack on our country, which has caused untold levels of change in our political system and our airport security, is the same thing as Bama losing to a team from the Sun Belt.
9/11 reaction : Afghanistan :: ULM loss reaction : scheduling Notre Dame
A-mazing. Only a Bammeroid would try to stand behind those remarks and try to justify them.
He said, “changes in history usually occur after some kind of catastrophic event.” The first of these CATASTROPHIC EVENTS he mentioned was 9-11. The second was Pearl Harbor. The third was a loss to Lousiana-Monroe. Yes, he referenced that loss as a CATASTROPHIC EVENT which would cause change for his football team, which equates it with those two events.
He may not have meant it that way, and Bammeroids may be delusional enough to think it didn’t come out that way, but he said it, and it was really, really, REALLY friggin stupid for him to say.
Get over it.
Hail State!
So if ULM was 9-11, what was the loss to Mississippi State, the USS Cole attack?
Just listened to his whole comment… he also compared the ULM loss to an “alcoholic hitting rock bottom.” I think comparing the Sabanation to a disease like alcoholism is a fair comparison.
Check out this link about former UA running back Siran Stacy. This makes the loss to ULM seem trivial.

Click the link to see how Bammers raise their kids, i can’t understand what they are saying or doing…
Why did Saban use 9-11 and Pearl Harbor??? Was the Holocaust and the Spanish Inquisition not able to be used as a football analogy???
saban did not directly comapre to 9/11 or pearl harbor ..f**king get over it ..they will over come and get ready …oh a average coference..try the toughest conference in football..who can compete.with a average team in this average conference..if you are a bama fan and cant understand what was said at the coference then maybe auburn, tenn, or lsu is a good place for u!!!!!!
I have no fucking idea what you are saying, Lance
