Who is Notre Dame’s Logan Young?

(good gosh Charlie, have some fucking pride)

According to one national scouting service, Notre Dame is currently ranked #1 in recruiting. How? It can’t be the ex Irish Bob Kuechenberg’s candid comments [death rattle]

Nebraska is losing top recruits daily. Yes, we we all know that Alabama is scoring commitments daily, but they are probably purchasing humans again. So exactly what is Charlie Weis saying to recruits to keep them committed? Double cheeseburgers??

Year after year Notre Dame has gotten top recruiting classes, but you don’t see the result of that on the field. That points directly to coaching. If I were a recruit I would stay away from ND until they get a new coach.

I would submit that the Irish recruits are like Weis’s stomach staples . . . just barely hanging on. One must wonder what Navy’s recruiting class was ranked last year to beat ND they had to have at least.. one 5 star?

How in the Hell is this team 1-8? Your basically saying ND recruits itself…In that case..you should be reloading every year not rebuilding…let alone be 1-8 which is below rebuilding it is “Prairie View” level..

ND has 2 huge advantages over every other school in the country:

–It’s own TV Network
–preferential treatment from the BCS

Combined with “How special a place this is”…..How is 1-8 even in the discussion? Shouldn’t this team be in the Top 10 every single year even with the difficult schedule they play?

Or just maybe the “Mystique” and “Allure” of ND is just not relevant to today’s High School athlete.

  1. I get so damn sick of hearing about the tradition of Notre Dame and all of the crap that seems to follow that program. The fact is they DO have a great tradition, and all that comes along with that. Unfortunately for the Domers, they simply are no longer relevant to the world of college football — at least not the way they think they are.
