OU will pwn Mizzou and Chase Daniel

Look at all-world QB Chase Daniel make a perfect form tackle.  Sadly, I think that Chase Daniel and Mizzou will be OU’s bitch again.  and as a second order of effect, they will make us, the United States, watch tOSU Failboats get embarrassed in the BCS NC again.

(Oh Shit!!!)

Here is the prevailing mindset of the average Big 12 fan who has never been to the “show”:

There is an ESPN “conspiracy” for the SEC and that is why Tim Tebow and Darren McFadden are leading candidates for the Heisman – They should just go ahead and give the award to Chase Daniel.

The idea of a Conference Championship game is “unfair” as it keeps teams from playing in the BCS championship game – According to Mizzou fans the Big 12 is the only conference that has ever had a team kept out of the BCS game by a loss in the conference championship.  Somebody better let UGA in on that factoid.

Mizzou is the best team in the country and would beat any team in the SEC as evidenced by Mizzou’s win over….ahem….. Ole Miss.  Why?  Other SEC teams struggled against the school without a mascot.

BTW – Did you know if Mizzou wins on Saturday this will be their 2nd Big 12 title…….in any sport….men’s or women’s……their women’s softball team won a Big 12 Championship a few years ago.

In addition……Chase Daniel’s appearance on the SI cover marks the 1st time a Mizzou athlete has ever appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

  1. Aw, is someone sad that their conference isn’t going to get to play for the national title? Or is it that the pwetty wittle vowunteers aren’t even the best team in their division, and are going to get run out of the building by LSU this weekend? Or maybe you’re just bummed because there’s actually a new team that might be good this year.

Mizzou didn’t get pwned last game, fool. They tried getting cute and got killed with turnovers from trick plays. But Oklahoma’s gotten worse while Mizzou’s gotten better.

Even if Mizzou does lose, its two losses to OU will be a mite bit better than losses to Pac-10 joke Cal, and, oh yeah, that team that lost to Louisiana-Monroe.

The SEC is the best conference in the land, no doubt. But Mizzou’s the best in the country.

  2. please don’t use catbox style defenses of losses…..OU owns you fellas and that trend will continue.

ULM? Do you remember Troy State?

  3. Oh man it all makes sense now… Chase Daniel has a vagina… look… you can see the camel toe right there on the picture…

Thanks Jai… I will have to say the front ass is a bit more fun though… I don’t think that guy has as much crotch fat as Chase here.

I’m gonna go look up some straight porn now… I’ve just spent 30 too many seconds looking at Chastity Danielle’s crotch here.

  4. A Mizzou fan talking shit about football. When did we wake up in some kind of weird alternate parallel universe?

  5. Yes I know, busting on Bama losing to ULM? Only we can do that. Especially after Mizzou lost to Troy on ESPN a couple of years ago

  6. He might even be wearing a thong

  7. Good job, let’s reference games from years that have nothing to do with the present! Woo-hoo! Nebraska should win the national title!

Do you know anything about the matchups, or the fact that it’s in San Antonio and not Norman, or the fact that Mizzou’s broken losing streaks to CO, aTm and KState this year? Or are you just doing what all the mainstream douchebags are doing and going “Nuh-uh! Things have always been this way and they always will! Is so! OU’s always been good! So has USC! Even though the lost to fucking Stanford. Vols rule!”

Come on, man. I expect better from you.

  8. don’t misunderstand, most the civilized world is pulling for Mizzou. You are acting like some of the BE fans….with a “Chase Daniel” complex which is similar to having ‘small hands’

  9. Colorado, TxA&M, K-State? Real Juggernauts.

  10. Hey Mizzou guy: Do you think Daniel should win the Heisman over Tebow despite the kind of record-setting season Tebow has had and despite the fact that none of UF’s losses are because he played poorly?

  11. Tebow….hands down

  12. I’m not going to lie. We have a huge inferiority complex. We haven’t won a conference championship since 1969. We’re just as aware of how much we’ve sucked as everyone else is. The problem is trying to make people understand this team is different (*waits for OU to completely annihilate us Saturday, as predicted).

LL: You mean, Colorado that beat OU? Or TxA&M that beat the Horns? How about the fact that the big 12 has been one of the better conferences this year, in a year where the Pac-10 is horrific and the Big East is about as impressive as… shit, I can’t even come up with a comparison. It’s the Big East.

Well, when you look at it, Chase has performed better in clutch situations and led a team to more victories and really put on a great….

    no.

No, I can’t. Tebow wins the Heisman. I welcome my new Tebow overlord.

Essentially my point is that even though we’re #1, beat Illinois who knocked off tOSU, went 11-1, knocked off #2 Kansas who was undefeated, and have put up 30 in each game and haven’t won by less than 6 all season, I don’t hear “if” Mizzou loses. I hear “when” Mizzou loses. If we were Nebraska, or Colorado, or US(we lost to fucking Stanford)C, or even the three loss Florida, it’d be a game for the ages.

    “But Mizzou has always sucked!”

Things change, for the love of God.

  13. i can’t answer for LL, but I do not want the Failboats back in the NC. I would rather see WVU-Mizzou. I wouldn’t be tooting on beating a Big 10 team though….

  14. If it was Wisconsin I’d have the same amount of enthusiasm as I have over the Ole Miss win. Same for Michigan or Penn State. But the Illinois win doesn’t have to be the defining win of the season (I’ll take beating KU, never trailing, beating their defense like it owed us money, on national primetime for 400, Alex). It’s just the fact that it’s a quality non-con win. Which many teams don’t have. Like, oh, say, West Virginia and Ohio State.

  15. i think i would take the 3 other wins you referneced over KU. Dick Cheney approves

  16. Yes, but in an era where USC gets blown for beating Arizona State, I’ll take it.

  17. MizzouRobot:
I didn’t say that the Big 12 is weak. The emergence of some of the teams in North Division this year has done nothing but help your conference (i.e. 11-1 Kansas, a more competitive Colorado, and of course, Mizzou). With that being said, you guys are having a great season.

    Jai:
I would rather see Missouri vs. West Virginia than OSU vs. West Virginia (I wouldn’t even watch that game.) Missouri’s strength of schedule is 20 spots higher than OSU and WVU and they’re victory over the Fightin’ Zookers is a good out of conference win (despite the fact that it was the first game of the season and as we all know, the Zooker’s teams are always getting “better and better.”)

But what I would really like to happen is to see Mizzou vs. OSU for the NC. This way, OSU gets embarrassed by a faster team for the 2nd year in a row. Also, OSU – the team with sooooooo much tradition – gets embarrassed by a team with almost no tradition whatsoever. And, WVU gets left out. Mizzou wins their 1st NC in football – a “feelgood” story. It’s a win-win-win-win situation!!!

  18. “How about the fact that the big 12 has been one of the better conferences this year, in a year where the Pac-10 is horrific”

What the hell. At the beginning of the season what did we all say… “Man the Big 12 is down this year. Pac-10 is the best conference even over the SEC”

Best non-conference wins for the Big 12 this year: Illinois, Wake Forest, Ole Miss, Iowa, and TCU

which you could maybe bank on those if you didn’t have losses to Miami, Georgia, and Troy by reputable teams in the conference. The real truth is the conference is down and only through fortunate scheduling are Mizzou and Kansas in their BCS rankings. Watch, OU is the only real team in the conference and even they are down.

  19. their -instead of- they’re

    sorry

  20. Chase Daniel is the biggest Heisman Pretender I’ve ever seen, but at least he has big numbers in big games. Tim Tebow’s numbers go down when it’s important and on the line. Tim Tebow Folds like a chair when it comes down to it and in important situations.

If you break down the stats and look at it, Tim Tebow has ridiculous numbers, and that is great, but he pads his stats in games where his team wins by more than 2 touchdowns, while other candidates such as Darren McFadden actually perform better in close games.

And I’m not even counting Darren’s passing TDs.

The only stat that gets better in a close game for Tebow is his rushing yards.

  21. As opposed to those respectable losses to… Stanford and Notre Dame.

    Are you kidding me?

I thought the Pac-10 might finally do it this year after the Cal win over Tenn. But whoops, Tenn’s a big pile of crap that managed to win the games it should and then ambush the hell out of Georgia. Meanwhile the best team in the conference (okay, not THE best, but Oregon gets excluded because apparently God hates them)lost to Stanford. If Oklahoma or Mizzou had lost to Stanford they’d be banished from the top 10. Yet, there the pussies are, sitting there shining, crowing about their wins over Cal and Arizona State.

Saying the Big12 is down is basically repeating MSM rhetoric. It’s useless and outdated. It’s almost like people read the preseason polls, watch the first two weeks, and then just accept what they see as fact.

The same people that said OU is the only real team are the same people that said

Kansas will beat MU, you just watch.
Gigli will be a blockbuster, you just watch.
Britney will be back, better than ever, you just watch.

Jesus, wake up and look around.

I’m glad you guys are on Mizzou’s side.I would like to mention a few things.

    1. DeMarco Murray: out.
    2. Austin English: out.
    3. Sam Bradford: Actually is human when outside of Norman.
    4. Tony Temple: Did not play last time in Norman.
    5. DeNario Alexander: Was 1 week back from a four week wrist injury. He’s pretty healthy now.
    6. Take a long look at the numbers and stats for OU outside of Norman. The rabbits foot jammed up their ass gets dislodged the further they get away from that wretched, oversized trailer-park excuse for a state.

  22. BigFootFool:

I understand you’re an Arky Homer and you’re supposed to pull for McFadden, but you can’t be serious. McFadden “shows up” in big games? He had big games against LSU (along with Hillis and Jones) and a big game against Bama. He had a big game against South Carolina but Tebow had a huge game against them.

Just as an example, what about the Auburn at Arky game? McFadden: 17 att, 43 yds, 0 Tds. Plus, Arky has 1 more loss than UF.

I’m not doubting McFadden’s talents at all. But without him, Arky could survive with Jones & Hillis. Tebow has played both QB and primary RB all year long. Without him this year, UF would’ve been screwed.

This Gator team went 9-3 after losing 9 starters on Defense and 5 starters on Offense (including our #1 WR, #1 RB and starting QB). Tebow is the reason why.

  23. I’ll accept Tebow is the Heisman because it’s a completely arbitrary award and the numbers alone will carry him to the award.

But you’re going to dogg McFadden, inarguably working with less talent (his QB is Casey Dick, for fuck’s sake), for winning less games, yet Chase Daniel has won more games, but he’s a pretender?

You do realize you make about as much sense as Mike Leach on a bender, right?

Also, losing the starters doesn’t matter because Urban Meyer recruits like no one else and its fucking Florida. If you put DMac of Chase on that team, they have equal numbers. There is nothing about Tebow that makes him greater than the other two. He just had a better team and got to shine.

He’ll also be the worst pro prospect imaginable. The kid will be DEAD. The Sex Cannon will feel bad for the man. (Note: Chase Daniel will never, ever, ever see an NFL field.)

  24. We don’t know anyone named Urban. We know an Herban.

  25. Tebow is definately a contender.. He’s an amazing athlete, and I believe he has carried the UF, despite the 3 losses..

However, in the games they loss, look at what Tebow did.. I’m not saying this is because Im a Dawg fan, but in the UGA game he was shut down.. Sure he had 2 rushing TD’s from less than 10 yards out on both.. But he had -15 yards rushing, due to being sacked and pressured..

When Tebow doesn’t play, Florida doesn’t shine. It’s simple.

I think he’s gonna finish it off at the top of the race, however I think people will fuck him because he’s a sophomore… McFadden wins, IMO.. Doesn’t seem right, but thats my feeling.

He’s just sold himself more, when people were watching, and I think that helps.

  26. Thanks Downtown Dog for bringing up those 6 sacks. Dammit! j/k Not making excuses, but Tebow played injured that game. He was at about 75-80%.

After Saturday, I thought he was a shoe-in for the Heisman. But the more I read on the internet from the sportswriters this week, it’s almost like a majority of the writers are looking for a reason not to give him the award.

IMO, he deserves to win it, and should win it, but my gut tells me he won’t win it.

  27. LL,

I get the same feeling from alot of the writers as well. It seems that some are obvious to the idea that most won’t give it to him because of his ever so repeated fact that he is a sophomore. Which shouldn’t matter. Good is good, and he is just that..

As far as Tebow in the UGA game.. Sure he was injured, but that was not why he didn’t do as good as he could have.. Urban Wiener, didn’t let Tebow play like Tebow wanted, and does. They babied him.

After him playing an entire game with a broken hand, and still doing what he did, I was SOLD on the idea that Tebow injured, doesn’t mean shit.

  28. What I am saying is McFadden puts up his biggest numbers in close games. The Arkansas coaching staff doesn’t play McFadden in blowout wins. If you run the numbers (which I did) McFadden’s stats are much higher in the 6 games the razorbacks played that were decided by 14 points or less.

Including the 43 yards against Auburn in which he played with Bruised Ribs.

The South Carolina Performance was probably the most impressive thing that happened in all of college football this year.

Now if you look at Tebow, with his 5 games that were decided by 14 points or less, his numbers are below his season average, except for his rushing numbers. But his TDs and passing yards are lower.

If you want to look at it another way Tebows 4 best games are Western Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Kentucky which are 3 blow out wins and one close game against Kentucky.

McFaddens best games came against South Carolina, LSU, Alabama, and Kentucky. 2 losses and 2 wins and all 4 games were 13 points or less.

IMO Darren McFadden won the Heisman when he brought Arkansas back in that game against Alabama from down 21-0. Tim Tebow is a close 2nd to me, but it seems to me like he’s just out there padding stats a lot of the time.

Chase Daniel is an afterthought to me.

  29. It’s probably like a coin flip, but I’d have to go with McFadden. I think he is a better QB than Tebow is a RB, if that makes any sense. I think McFadden is the best all around weapon, with running, receiving, option-reading, and not to mention kick returning skills. Hell, he could probably play safety for a lot of teams. He was robbed for the trophy last year, which became apparent in NC game. Not that he should get it this year as a make up. I just wonder what the damn award is supposed to represent these days anyway.

  30. “Most Outstanding College Football Player”

    Outstanding – adj.

    1. prominent; conspicuous; striking.
    2. marked by superiority or distinction; excellent; distinguished.

If you take these two definitions, Tim Tebow gets the award as the media has made him the most prominent and conspicuous, but if you go by the 2nd definition, it is clearly Darren McFadden… the best player in college football…. and the WORLD

  31. @30 Do you think last year’s winner was the best for either definition?

  32. Tebow with his pectorals rippling and his skin glistening with sweat, valiantly fights his way through the Heisman Pretenders to take his rightful place atop Beano Cook’s List. Beano Cook’s list. Ahem
    p.s.
and Chase does have camel toe

  33. @31 not really. I think his team being undefeated and supposedly really good helped. I think if he put up the same stats and lost to Michigan, Darren McFadden would’ve gone right by him, or heck they woulda taken Brady Quinn. BQ was probably definition 1 and I would have to say DMac was 2 again.

Somehow Smith rose to the top though last year… It doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me, but if you refer to Heismanpundits rules one of the rules is be from a marquee university and tOSU and UF are both bigger and better gigs than Arkansas or Mizzou.

Chase Daniel has good numbers and is really a legitimately good QB, but the biggest problems he faces are the same 2 DMac had last year.

Not from one of the Top CFB universities, and he had no name recognition coming into the year. Tebow has both of those, and that usually makes the difference to voters.

  34. I was wrong.

    We got pwned.

    We are inferior.

Back to the trenches, we slugs go.

    Kill me.

  35. high 5, i feel your pain
