I don’t understand the stroking of teams going on… If VT won their championship, and beat a higher ranked team, by 14… And LSU won their championship, beating a lower ranked team by 7… How does LSU, jumped up that many spots, over VT, and even UGA? Sure, LSu spanked VT.. But if we’re looking at it for what it is now, what does that matter? 41 points is alot, but LSU lost to an unranked team at home, too.. right?
That doesn’t seem like a sound vote.. And why is OU getting stroked so hard, and jumped so high? It’s the same logic LSU is getting. Sure, they beat #1, but who’d they play?
Also, OSU.. they haven’t played in a while.. They were idle.. They’ve beaten one top 25 team(UW#18), and without playing, they jump the charts like that to #1?
Doesn’t make sense that they go up, without having to play, yet UGA and Kansas, while not playing for their conference champ, get penalized.. Kansas, hasn’t played anyone, or beaten a team that has gotten a friggin’ vote.. Hawaii, has the same problem, only they never got to be in the “mix” this season.
We need a playoff, and maybe after enough shitty bowls this year, they’ll try and find something new… For such an exciting season this has been, it’s a lackluster finish to the bowls.. Every team has their argument, it’s just a matter of who screams the loudest now.
