Oklahoma is like a school yard bully
I really think Oklahoma might be the best team in the country. I also think my Eers stand a good chance of spanking that Sooner ass because of our superior coaching staff lead by Rich Rodriguez. Say anything you want about him, but you better say that he is the creator of the spread option that is so popular today. I know almost every college in America would love to have him. Give him a month to prepare and he will have the Sooners stumpbroke inside and out. Stoops is almost in the same category as RR so it will be an interesting game. I think WVU stands a good chance to beat them. And I look for our stalwart 3-3-5 defense to be the difference.
I’ve actually wondered if the Associated Press might not vote us number one if we beat Oklahoma (as in a split National Title). Only time will tell, and I guess, of course, we DO have to beat them first, but I’m guessing that by this time next week our players will be going full speed ahead.
Anybody else up for seeing our guys beat the 2nd best team in the land? The National Championship would have been nice, especially playing against the 10th or 15th best team in the land for it, but if you can block the big trophy out of your mind we’ve got a challenge worth seriously looking at.
Oklahoma is big and bad and mean. When January 2 comes around, what you say we just kill them? Let’s show them aggression the likes of which they’ve never even heard of. If these guys have heard anything at all about us (and they will have by the time game time rolls around), they will probably come out looking to be more physical than we are.
Bottom line, we’ve got to win that battle, and we’ve got to win it early. Establish our physicality at the beginning of the game, and we probably win the game. Let them establish it, and we probably lose. This is one time that we definitely need to be trying to put some feet up in the air. Roll Call: Are you guys listening? Quinton? Eric? Ryan? Antonio? Something tells me people are too afraid of Oklahoma to try to manhandle them. Something also tells me that if we hit them hard in the face right off the bat, they might not know how to respond. Boise State beat them last year by avoiding them. How about we beat them this year by kicking the living dogshit out of them?

That is going to be tough. I have been to Morgantown and Huntington. Both are nice towns but all the hot girls seem to end up at Marshall.
