I have been let down as a WVU fan.
I will always love the gold and blue, just tired of not having a national championship.
We will be back. I know that’s hard to believe, but it’s true. We are a team on the rise, despite our shitty ass former mexican coach. We are playing in our 5th consecutive New Year’s Day bowl game and our 2nd BCS bowl in 3 years.
When Rich Rod was hired he wasn’t given a mandate to win a NC in ‘X’ amount of years, and thank God that we don’t run our football program like that. Look what he has done with kids that, for the most part, no “big” school wanted. Now Rod has moved on because he thinks that Michigan is the “big time” with it’s “tradition” and other assorted shit.
Here are some changes I think that are fundamental to our future success:
- Steve Slaton must go to the NFL because he is not the Steve Slaton he used to be.
- Noel Devine should start at running back because he gives our offense the best chance (his kick return almost pulled us out of the hole).
- The coaching was horrible and when you get coaches from a school like USF and they can’t win against their old team and can’t beat shitsburgh then something is wrong.
- We did not deserve the national title game.
- We have to move on and I think a Bowden is the right choice.
Listen I know these comments may anger some people but its a fact. We are not at the peak of our ability yet, but will be there soon. No matter how shitty this week has been, the best is yet to come. Hopefully when we can play OU and we will run their shit. And last but not least we are still mountaineers and must continue to burn shit. LETSSS GOOOOOOOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!!

I agree with 4 out of your 5 points there, but to think that Bowden is a good option is fucking insane. There’s a reason he hasn’t coached since you were 3 years old…
