Auburn? You’re Next
I doubt that UGA or OU wants anymore of the EER Buzzsaw. Country Roads Motherfucker. Click to enlarge More to follow….
Bill Stewart just schooled Bob Stoops and Oklahoma. We are not some BCS B-List Cinderella School (Boise State).
I know some EERs with their heads stuck in the clouds may not like this hire, but step back and take a good look at what he just did.
We just ass-raped another “Big Boy” School. This is a coach and a team that has had seven 11 win seasons in the last 9 and have a National Championship under their belts in that time period.
Bill Stewart just schooled Bob Stoops. Are people in shock that they don’t realize the magnitude of this man’s ability? OK, his name wasn’t as well known to sports writers a couple of days ago, but the man can coach and a lot more people in the press are taking notice.
I fully support the decision to offer him the job, he has earned it.
Maybe it will take a day or so for the doubters to step back and realize what this man just did and what he is capable of.
Plus this is who the players want, they may not read the sports pages like some of you doubters, they are just the ones dedicating all their time to this team.

Congrats Eer, Finally someone in the sports world does right by hiring a good man.
Why is bob stoops considered a genius again? That onside kick was
a) the wrong call at the wrong time.
b) extremely poorly executed.
This, coming from a Les Miles fan…
All it took was one game for you to jump on his bandwagon, Eer.
The WVU Victory last night kicked off about a 2 1/2 week celebratory meth binge for 41% of the state’s population. Ooof!
Yeah, mix that meth smell with the fumes and smoke of the burning couches…the hilltops won’t be visible for months, but no one there will notice.
That’s why they call it the Smokies…
what happened to the running game? and the onside kick was retarded. I guess with his history I should have known..good thing I took wv +7.5
ga was the hottest team heading into this. would have been interesting to see the rematch
florida didnt come out and do what I was expecting, which was to run the same mundane plays throughout the season, then come up with a complete 180 for a gameplan in the bowl game
and for all the talk about the sec being overrated, I would like to know why no one is mentioning the big 12. guess we’ll know after kansas
@7 – the Big 12 had 3 “good” teams, 1 played an average Arkansas team without a coach and throttled them like they should have, then the best team in the Big 12 got smoked by some meth heads last night.
Stoops had the momentum before that onside kick, that gave all the momentum back to a sleepy WV team that looked like they were a play away from hanging their heads and pointing fingers.
I would have guessed a WVU fan knew what an ass-raping was….
SEC Overrated? 6-2 biotches.
Bout to be 7-2
Big LEast? 2-2
Most people call that mediocre.
Dumb @10 and 11, just dumb. are you in the 6th grade?
Good luck to coach Stewart when Rod’s OC and other assistants leave Morgantwon.
Morgantown*
The Barn’s new Spread Eagle offense is going to be fucking electric. That 3-3-5 wall doesn’t stand a chance.
TBST:
The Spread will never work in the SEC.
it doesn’t work. unless you have 2-3 qbs
in the SEC
Daffy Duck Bill may know nothing about football but he knows how to create enthusiasm. You knew three plays in that the Stoopers had stepped in the dog’s business. The powers in WV would be nuts not to give goofy guy a shot.
Yeah, AngryEer, multiple QBs doesn’t work in the SEC, either. Just ask: Florida last year, LSU this year, and Auburn next year.
Auburn early should not present a problem at home but September 27, don’t laugh, will be a nightmare. Mark it down.
Stewart kind of looks like a miniature Charlie Weis. And it looked like his players had some trouble toting him to midfield. Could WVU’s future be resembled by Notre Dame in more ways than one?
LL,
your Gators lost to Appy State’s bitch.
The Spread Eagle is going to be a fucking prolific offense
TBST,
Think Muschamp is leaving for Austin, Texas?
Druid,
I asked him that at the scholarship luncheon that Saturday before the bowl and all he said was, “BOOM MOTHERFUCKER! THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKIN ‘BOUT”
Seriously, don’t think so, most of the assistants are too close to getting tenure from the state. He is a hell of a coach so it wouldn’t surprise me if he left for some major cash, but I think he likes the opportunity he has now to get to beat his ex-boss’s ass every year.
Muschamp is a fat sweaty horse that curses like a fucking Gator
And your new coach looks like Charlie Weis, (HT artiger)
@26 Taco-I can’t remember the circumstances of Muschamp’s departure-did he leave on bad terms? It was certainly our loss. I had heard rumors that we were trying to get him back, but I couldn’t imagine him leaving the Plains for the same position.
@27 I’d take that as a compliment, for a DC.
He followed $aban to Miami and only coached one year there. If I remember, the Dolphin’s defense wasn’t bad that year (somewhere in the middle of the pack). Not bad for a first year NFL DC.
I agree with you, when he leaves (he’s too damn good to be there forever) it will be for a HC gig..
TBST:
I am being sarcastic. Mullen’s playcalling in a couple of games this year have been suspect (meaning that he doesn’t spread the ball around despite all of the weapons we have and sometimes seems to have a panic attack and call plays for only Tebow and Harvin).
But despite the expert predictions from fans of Auburn, Bama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, etc., after Meyer was hired 3 years ago that “the spread will never work in the SEC,” it is obvious by now that it does work. And next season, it will be the offense at LSU, Bama (Saban hired Applewhite to install a version of the spread), and now Auburn.
Now, what DOESN’T work is the young, inexperienced, swiss-cheese-esque defense that Florida put on display for most of the year.
LL,
Just fucking with ya,
it obvious to anyone that the best athletes want to play in the spread so in recruiting it gives you an advantage to have a spread offense system at your school.
