I don’t think Hawaii deserved to be in the game, certainly not ahead of more deserving teams who would have given a better show, but obviously it is not Hawaii’s fault so much as it is the idiots who vote on teams. Hawaii cannot be expected to turn down a Sugar Bowl invitation, but I do think the voters need to take scheduling into WAY more account than they do.
I hate seeing deserving teams like Mizzou get screwed out of a BCS spot just so someone who doesn’t play anybody good can take the spot and get annihilated by a better team. Nobody wants to see bowl blowouts.

talk to the ohio state about playing nobody and bowl blowouts. Hawaii is harder to schedule than them. I know, I know, they play USC this year.. finally i don’t have to watch them get whooped in the MNC
