Did Kentucky tip their hand in the Vandy loss? February 13, 2008

Much like their football cousin Alabama, another historically proud, classy, and traditional SEC School, Kentucky punched national contender Tennessee in the mouth then followed up that stellar upset win with a mild upset loss. So is Vandy UK’s Lousiana Monroe? The only answer is ‘YES’!

Kentucky fans, “you must stay the course”. Don’t you see? Coach Billy is just fucking around, trust me when I say that Coach Billy can turn “it” on anytime he wants. Like a mad chemist, he has tinkered around with this team until he found a winning combination. Sure it may have taken until mid season to do it, but now he is ready to seize the damn moment in the SEC Tourney. He is saving his team’s energy for the SEC Tourney, fine-tuning and tweaking this lethal scoring machine.

Did Coach Billy make a critical tactical error losing to Vandy by too large of a margin? Maybe so. He can fix this by keeping the score close against hapless LSU to continue with this winning/losing strategy.

This logic behind this winning/losing strategy is indisputable. He has earned the ire of the Wildcat Nation, become the laughing stock of College Basketball. On the other hand he has also received free national exposure for attracting top recruits to Lexington as ESPN runs the highlight of the Vandy loss. This loss coupled with the ESPN Greatest Highlight Bracket, ESPN ran the highlights of Christian Laettner and Duke beating the Cats in the NC Game, the timing of this loss was pure genius.

Cat fans, don’t worry about the rankings. Take solace that Coach Billy has everything under control. He knows what he’s doing. Concerning UK’s low rankings, you must be comforted by what Coach Billy said in last night’s press conference “the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.” Cat fans do you see the wisdom in Coach Billy’s next statement? ” I haven’t failed, I’ve found 10,000 ways that don’t work.” Billy has a great attitude. He isn’t giving up and neither should you.

Here is what the UK fans are saying:”We might not have won tonight, but if that game were called fairly you could easily add 30 to our score”; “The refs were the difference tonight”; and finally this brave soul “Maybe Ashley Judd will give the team a pep talk later After all, she did come all that way. Maybe she’ll hang out and meet the team later, and give them some words of encouragement. It couldn’t hurt anything.”

UK, with your tradition and history why do you even need a coach? Why not just parade around the Rupp Arena with history and tradition flags and forget about the basketball? You can still be on ESPN because you are Kentucky!

True class. The NCAA Tourney would be lucky to have UK as they are just nothing but class. Hopefully the pollsters will take into account how classy Kentucky is and look at the ‘near misses’ against Vandy in case there is a “hiccup” at the SEC Tourney.

Make now mistake about it, Kentucky is back in the saddle. Be very scared SEC, cause scary Kentucky is back. Everybody in College Basketball thinks Kentucky sucks. Be very scared. Coach Billy: Mission Accomplished!!

After watching the game last night I retract what I said about taking Ashley Judd home to meet the parents. She looked like she just got sport fucked, and that was before Vandy pee-pee slapped UK.

That was an absolute beat down. I watched the first 10 minutes of the first half and it was over then. Ashley and anyone else you can think of wouldn’t have saved the Cats last night.

UK has a long way to go before they return to SEC prominence, much less national.
