To think that they are not going to need tax dollars is ridiculous. The guy that designed the Pyramid, architect Robert Lee Hall, showed me the plan, I thought he was nuts and a few years later up it went. There is so much corruption in Memphis that any project is loaded down with kick backs, bribery and extortion. For every dollar spent on the actual facility, the crooked politicians get a buck for their pocket. From a crime standpoint, Memphis has become the Mogadishu of the Western World. The ridiculous part of this is that a sixty thousand seat stadium is three minutes from the campus. They could upgrade the Liberty Bowl for about ten million and have a practically new place.
